I even splurged and got some ice creams for us.

Sanchez likes his without anything on it, but with Amber I had to put on sprinkles, gummy bears, and strawberry sauce before she'd eat hers.

After that we all just layed around in front of the pokemon center.

That is until I heard a familiar squeal.

I turned and hugged cousin May and said "Long time no see cuz!"

We released each other and took each other's looks in. May wore a green bandana, a matching skirt and top, fingerless gloves, and had two pokeballs on her side.

We said "Looking good!" At the same time and we giggled.

My pokemon seemed a bit confused.

"Oh sorry. Sanchez, Amber, this is my little cousin May."

May groaned "By three months!" Before she looked like she suddenly had an interesting idea.

"How about we have a battle! Whoever loses is the true little cousin!"

I smirked and said "I don't know... have you gotten a badge yet?"

Judging by the shock on her face the answer was a resounding no.

"You already got a badge?! How?! I can't even find the gym in this big of a city....." she pouted.

I chuckled and said "I'd hate to see how lost you'd be in Slateport or Lilycove."

She pouted and said "Don't change the subject! It's time to battle!"

I shrugged and said "Alright, your loss."

She smirked and said "Go Slackoth!"

"Go Sanchez!" I said and pointed to my lotad. He rushed forward and got ready.

"Use scratch!"

"Dodge and retaliate with bullet seed!"

Sanchez managed to do just that and sent the little sloth tumbling.

"Keep up the pressure with a water gun!" I told Sanchez.

He obliged and hit Slackoth right between the eyes.

"Slackoth no!" May yelled.

Slackoth's Truant ability wore off and May yelled "Use yawn!"

Slackoth yawned at Sanchez and Sanchez yawned as well.

"Quick use bullet seed!" I told him.

He did just that, but as soon as he finished he was asleep and Slackoth was still hanging on.

Darn it! He just got done with a tough battle too so he's probably gonna faint before he wakes up....

Ugh..... even with Truant it'll be close....

I had to sit there as Slackoth hit Sanchez with scratch three times while he was in the coma like sleep.

Each time sending him skidding back. Each time I flinched as he grunted in pain in his sleep.

Then he finally woke up and dodged the fourth attack.

"Quick use bullet seed!"

Sanchez was happy to oblige and knocked out the Slackoth just as truant kicked in.

"Yeah! Great Job Sanchez! You deserve a good rest." I praised him and gave him a little hug before returning him.

"Ugh..... you did your best Slackoth..... Go Treecko!" She said.
