Tyler's phone begun to ring. It was Peyton! He quickly picked the phone up, but didn't answer immediately. He didn't want to seem creepy, so he waited a few seconds before answering.
"Hello?" He heard Peyton's voice, so soft through the phone. It was so beautiful to him.
"Hey Peyton, we're meeting up at the park around three o'clock, right?" He bit on his lip after he spoke. He hated talking on the phone, it always made him think he was talking to himself.
"Oh, um." She sounded slightly unsure. "Yeah, about that, could we meet around two o'clock? I know it's rush hour around two, beings it's always time for lunch breaks around that time."
Tyler bit on his lip harder, he hated riding his bike at that time, so many things he hated. Tyler was the kind of boy who hated danger, he was somewhat filled with anxiety as well. "O-Oh, yeah we could totally meet up then."
"Great, see you in a half hour." Peyton said in her sweet voice and hung up.
Tyler groaned and fell backwards onto his bed, he could never say no to Peyton. He glanced at the clock on his wall and sighed, 1:32. He stood up from his bed and then started to walk down stairs.
Once he had walked outside, ready on his bike, he heard little snickers from the bushes behind him. He immediately knew who it was.
"Josh, don't you think it's a little immature to hide in the bushes? And how long have you even been out here?" Tyler turned around, to find Josh had climbed out of the bushes.
"Oh, just a few minutes. I knew you were gonna be out here." Josh said, with his ugly stupid smirk he always wore when he was about to do something to Tyler.
He had been doing "pranks" on Tyler since the fourth grade. Tyler absolutely hated Josh, Josh absolutely loved Tyler. But for no good reason at all. Tyler just rolled his eyes and brushed it off every time Josh done things to him.
"How did you know?" Tyler tilted his head, keeping a eye on Josh.
"I just do." Josh's smirk grew bigger.
Tyler just rolled his eyes and got onto his bike fully, riding off and down the street. He wasn't doing this today. He looked down at his watch. 1:43. He sighed deeply. He wasn't going to make it to the park at two. He picked up the speed on his bike and rode quicker, not pay any attention to the road. He had been riding for at least six minutes before he'd checked his watch again. Or maybe seven. It was 1:58 when he check his watch though. He wasn't going to make it.
There was suddenly a loud honking from a car and Tyler looked up a moment too late. Everything went black.
