Maddie's POV:
"Maddie!Mackenzie!Dinner"my mom called from downstairs.
Tonight's dinner was Chinese takeout.My mom just put the cartons on the counter and told us told take one.We all sat down at our dining room table.
I waited for mom to be finished.Once she left I tried to wait Kenzie out but she wouldn't leave.
"Are you ok"she asked.
"I'm fine"I answered.
"why won't you eat"she asked.
"I...uh ate at dance"I answered as I put my takeout cartoon in the fridge.
Then,I went upstairs,packed for school,and went to bed. I was thing of what Mackenzie would do if she found out the truth about me.Everything I did was to protect her.
The next morning,I woke up to Kenzie shaking me.
"Maddie wake up"she said.
"I'm up"I said.
After she walked out of the room,I placed my hand on my chest.I felt so much pain in my chest.
I went to the bathroom,got dressed,then went downstairs. Mackenzie stopped me in my tracks.
"Not so fast,Maddison"she said."did you eat breakfast"
"Yeah...of course"I answered her.
"Maddie!your lying"she said.
"Ok fine... Kendall's bring me breakfast that Jill made"I said.
"Ok I believe you Maddie,here's your lunch"Kenzie said handing me a brown paper bag with the initials MNZ and a note that read "luv u so much❤️❤️-Kenzie😘
