I had woken up at 8:32am and I couldn't wait to for my day to start. I had a Halloween party this afternoon! I got to hang out with all of my friends and have a blast without my dad being so overprotective. I was actually surprised he said I could go! He is always super protective ever since my mom died when I was 5. I am 15 now and I am learning to be independent.

I immediately got out of bed and did my morning routine. Got dressed, ate breakfast, and brushed my hair and teeth. When I was done I ran into my dads bedroom and pulled him out of bed. He seemed sort of mad at me afterwards but I didn't care, I wanted to go get my Halloween costume! I was in such of a hurry to get to the costume store I helped my dad get ready. I had put the toothpaste on his tooth brush, set his clothes out for him, made him breakfast and helped him brush what hair he had left on his balding head. The Halloween store opened at 9:30am, so I had to get there early to get a good costume.

By the time my dad had finished getting ready and drove to the store, the store was already open. We arrived around 9:45ish and there were many costumes that were amazing. I tried on about 7 different costumes until I found this really pretty one. It was a black and purple six piece witch outfit. It had a black witch hat, light purple top, black corset attached to a black and dark purple skirt, black stockings and a wand. I had to buy nice shoes to finish the outfit. Thankfully everything was my size.

When I finished at the costume store, my dad made me go home and do my chores otherwise I wouldn't be allowed to go to the party.

After I was done with my chores, my dad took me to my aunt's house to do my make-up. Since my mom died when I was 5 years old, I didn't know how to put on make-up. My aunt brushed on some pale pink blush on my fair skin, added some purple eyeshadow along with black eyeliner. The purple eyeshadow made my eye eyes pop.

My aunt decided to use her black and purple colored hairspray on my medium length blonde waves to touch the piece up. She separated my hair into three parts, sprayed them and pulled it all into a side braid. One strand blonde, one black and one purple.

By the time we finished it was finally 5:00pm and time to go to the party. When I arrived I was somewhat scared because I didn't know what to expect and I didn't know where some of my friends were. I looked around for someone that I knew and I immediately spotted my best friend Jordan Grolier. I ran over to Jordan and no surprise to me, Jordan started talking about this really cute guy that came over to her earlier and talked to her. As Jordan was talking, I noticed that a creepy looking man was staring at me. I looked around I saw that he was the only one not wearing a costume. He was wearing an extra large dirty white shirt with a red stain just above the breast pocket, rugged up jeans and messy gray and white hair.

I was a little bit creeped out but I decided to ignore the man and go have a good time. I grabbed Jordan and walked out onto the dance floor next to my best friend Elsie Smith. Elsie, Jordan and myself started dancing and singing to the music.

We danced for about two and a half hours and I was really thirsty, so I walked over to the drink table and grabbed a glass of fruit punch. When I set that ladle back down in the bowl I saw the man again. He looked like he was in the exact same spot. I was a little scared so I walked over Elsie and I grabbed her hand and took her over to the drink table where I saw the man. I asked Elsie if she saw the man and she looked at me like I had 6 eyes. She told me she didn't see a creepy man behind us and said I probably just saw a creepy costume, but I was sure it wasn't a costume. So I just went back to the party.

It was now 7:30pm and Robbie, my crush for about all year, had just asked if we could go outside and talk. It was perfect because nobody else was outside. As we were walking outside I noticed that there was blood on the pathway to the gazebo. I also saw an engraving on the bench in the gazebo that said, "TURN AROUND NOW". I figured that it was apart of the party and ignored it and continued to talk to Robbie.

We had been outside for about 15 minutes and we had talked about all kinds of things. We talked about school, sports, and things we want to do in life. He told me he wanted to be a doctor when he grew up and I told him I wanted to be a photographer. As we were talking, I received a mysterious phone call from a blocked number and decided to let it go to voicemail. We continued talking but my phone kept ringing. Robbie told me to answer it while he went to the restroom.

I answered the call and all I heard was a person breathing on the other side. I really thought it was one of my friends trying to prank me so I yelled at the person on the phone to leave me alone. After the call I waited for Robbie to come back outside.

As I waited I heard footsteps in the grass behind the gazebo. I looked around and saw nothing. I got really scared and got up and started to walk inside the house. I could feel my heart beating faster and faster by the second. I felt a tug on my costume and a cloth over my nose and mouth. I tried to break free but whoever was holding me back was really strong. The person pulled me back into the grass away from the house and whispered in my ear, "Don't ever yell at me again." Right and there I immediately knew the person was a man with a very deep voice and it wasn't my friends who had prank called me.

A few minutes later I started to drift away. I felt my body getting weaker, my eyes getting heavier, I could barely hear anything and my lungs were struggling for oxygen. I felt helpless. The only thing I could see was the house getting farther and father, and the only thing I could feel was my body being dragged, my legs being shredded like a paper across the sharp grass. I saw nothing, heard nobody and didn't feel anything. I felt gone. I was gone.
