„You can turn around."

When I did so, I saw my beautiful fiancée. The white dress she was wearing, the long black hair of hers, her gorgeous blue eyes with long eyelashes; everything was amazing, and her big happy smile the most.

I had to blink to stop the tears of happiness starting to appear. „You – you're so beautiful," I said and hugged her tight. Nothing more came to my tongue as I was enchanted.

„You too, Brendon," she said with that loving smile and gently tighten my tie. When she looked at me I had to kiss her. It was just a short kiss and we both smiled into it.

„The next one we will share will be married," I said and Sarah blushed a little. She always did it and I loved it.

I took her hand and we walked back through the alley to the house. The guests were arriving and greeting, hugging and kissing us, and I felt so grateful for them. There were all my friends, my family, my proud mother who had been constantly crying since she got out of the car, guys from the band, Pete and Patrick... all the people I loved. Sarah's family was helping us with everything, especially her sister and maid of honour in one person.

Sarah squeezed my hand. „Everything's all right, isn't it?"

„Yes. Don't be nervous, it will be great, I promise."

„I hope so. Does everyone have everything?"

I looked at her. „Yeah, I think so, everyone seems happy. It won't take long and you'll be trapped with my stupid jokes forever."

She laughed. „Maybe I will become the leader of the house so I will forbid you to tell jokes at all."

„I hope you will, young lady," I whispered and she shushed me. „Don't be surprised then," her smile was priceless and I felt extremely lucky that it was me, who had her.

„The ceremony starts in an hour, honey. You better go finish your preparations," Sarah's sister appeared and took her hand.

„She's ready enough, in my opinion," I protested with a smile, but she said: „There are many thing we have to do, Brendon. Like finishing Sarah's make-up, combing her hair once again..."

„Okay okay, I get it," I grinned. „I believe you, girls." I kissed Sarah's cheek and they disappeared inside the house.

„Here you are, Brendon!" A hearty smile and big hand on my shoulder told me that it was Sarah's father, who came to talk to me.

„Good morning," I shook his hand and he pulled me into a hug.

„Listen son, maybe you think I am just an old man, but I know about life," he said but was smiling. „I don't want to make a speech or something. I only want to make sure you're ready."

„I am," I looked him in those eyes which had never judged me. He loved me from the first moment and I was really grateful for that.

„Well, I am glad to hear it, because if not, my dear wife will find out who broke her favourite vase on Christmas." He said it seriously, but his eyes were laughing. „I wouldn't like that," I said with a laugh. He patted me on my shoulder.

„Good luck, son." And he disappeared like Sarah in the crowd of people.

I was starting feeling nervous so I decided to go inside and calm myself down a little, make sure my hair is okay and my suit is clear. In only a minutes our lives would be connected until we die. I remembered our first date like it had been yesterday...

„So... where would you like to go?" Sarah asked me and I caught myself staring. She was wearing a red summer dress and it suited her incredibly.

„Uh... I have no idea, what about.... a walk? It's a nice day, the sun is shining..." Stupid me, what the hell was I talking about, the weather?

She smiled and showed me her white teeth. „Yeah, it sounds great."

„So... you sing?" Sarah asked me innocently as we walked into the park.

„Yeah, I do," I answered and was so grateful for what she had asked. She knew I was nervous and that's why she wanted me to talk about something I felt sure about.

„That is great, I would love to see you some time!" she clapped with her little hands in joy, and my ego grew.

„Yeah, maybe I can give you a backstage ticket," I grinned and felt much better. And one second later she slipped her hand in mine. We looked at each other, she blushed and I stared in her eyes.

„What a beautiful puppy!" she pointed to a dog near us and we both came back to reality. We were walking in the park till it got dark that day. I learned so many things about her, and every single one was making me falling in love. Her voice, the way she smiled, walked... everything made me believe in love again. I told her everything about our band history, about my childhood, even what my first dog's name was. And when I walked her home I risked it and kissed her on lips gently.

„Thank you for a great evening," I said and she smiled, kissed me on cheek and waved me.

„I thank you. It was lovely."

„Will I see you again?" I asked almost begging.

„It depends on you," she grinned cutely and closed the gate.

„Saturday evening then?"

„Same place?"

„Same place."

Sarah smiled. „I'll be there."

„I was looking for you." A familiar voice behind me brought me back to the presence. I turned around and met two dark eyes looking at me from under long eyelashes. My heart skipped one beat.
