Chapter one: Happiness is Always Temporary

My life was perfect. I had a loving family, a best friend, my grades were great, and I was happy, in fact, more than I ever could be. It was like my own personal heaven! Until... all the happiness I ever had... was stolen from me. Harshly ripped away from my very being dangling above my head, and whenever I got close to catching it, it just found itself higher even more out of my reach. It seemed like no time at all, when my personal heaven was my personal hell. (Cough edgy af Cough)

I got up to my loud ass alarm clock blaring in my face. "Five more minutes...." I groaned, trying to hit the snooze button on my alarm clock yet miserably failing as my hand hit the corner of the table. The sun shined brightly into my room, It's light leaking through the blinds. I rolled on my side trying to turn away from the bright light that so rudely disrupted my peaceful slumber! Only to get myself tangled in my covers, falling out of bed to meet the cold hard floor, while still tangled in the bed sheets."Ow..." I whined rubbing the back of my head. I forced myself to get up, get dressed, and ready for school. Once I finished getting ready, I grabbed my backpack and started walking to school. I meet up with my best friend, Sian, on the way and we chatted a bit. She seemed sick-ish, every once in a while she would start a coughing fit, have to clear her throat, or just sound pretty bad in general. "Hey, you ok?" I asked worry consuming my voice. "O-Oh y-yeah," She started coughing again. "My throats just hurts, but it's nothing!" Answered Sian, not really convincing me but I went along with it. Soon we reached school the place most kids dreaded going to, I wasn't most kids in fact, I kinda liked school! I saw it as just another reason to see, Sian. Time seemed to be going by so fast! Turns out, before I knew it the day was over. I grabbed my things and headed out. Sian had left early due to a doctors appointment, which I hope is about her throat. I'm sure she's fine though! I mean, it's Sian for Christ sake! I'm sure she'll be fine....right?
