The black suit catches fire and I am almost frozen in shock. I shake off the shock and think to myself, maybe if I ignore it, it will go away. But this is what Cinna was talking about. It may have nearly scared me to death, but the audience loved it. Their cheers and whoops grew louder and louder every step the horses took as we pounded down the runway. They started to throw roses as Peeta grabbed my hand. We held our hands and raised them up into the air. The crowd cheered so loud they were blowing out my eardrums. I already had a headache. Soon enough, the horses came to a halt, and I exhaled. I didn't realize I was holding my breath the entire time. Well, yeah, I was just on fire. I was starting to think Cinna was a bit crazy.

President Snow droned on about our "courage" and our "sacrifice." I didn't even realize Snow was finished his speech until the horses were taking us back to the Capitol.
