“Silver, ugly Betty came.” My best friend Allie said agitated.
“Wow, I thought she’d be too scared to come.’’ I said smoothly. I weaved through the mobs of people to answer the door. I placed my hand on the knob and braced myself.
“Oh hey!” I said.
“Hello.” She said nervously.
“Come on in.” I said with a sarcastic chuckle. “Are you staying the night?” I asked curiously.
“Uh, sure.” She replied with a smile.
I showed her the way to my bedroom, and I told her to set her stuff down and get comfy. I went downstairs filled my cup and tried to ignore the murmurs as she walked in the room. I grabbed my boyfriend Parker and started dancing.
