"Goddamnit!!", I yelled at my car. It had broken down in front of the crowded parking lot of a children's restaurant. I had just managed to pull to the side of the road before my engine blew. I opened the hood and a plume of smoke came out. I pulled away, coughing and waving my hand in front of my face.

Definitely out of my level of car expertise, I thought, groaning in frustration. I looked to the restaurant. Maybe someone there could help. I slammed your hood shut and walked quickly to the door of the place. The door swung open, just as I was about to pull on the handle, and smacked me in the face. I stumbled backwards, cursing and holding my nose, hoping it wasn't bleeding.

"Oh my gosh! Are you alright?", came from a high male voice with a British accent. I looked up and saw a tall, skinny male with short brown hair and dark blue, almost black, eyes. He was wearing a white button up shirt and blue jeans an black sneakers. I took your hand and removed it from my face. No blood.

"I'm alright. No blood, no foul." The man sighed in relief.

"Good. Is there anything I can do for you? Since I just hit you in the face with a door." I laughed.

"Maybe one thing. Do you know how to fix cars? Mine broke down out front." He lit up.

"Oh definitely! I'm a repairman. Mainly for large robot animals. But, a car? Piece of cake. The name's Mike, Mike Schmidt" He stuck out his hand to shake. You took it and have it a firm shake like my dad taught me.

"Rhia Agan. Nice to meet you Mike. And what did you mean by large robots?" He raised an eyebrow at me. He beckoned me with one finger. He pointed through the door.

"Those large robots." I saw a crowded place full of children and on the far side of the room was a low stage with three characters. They were approximately human height. That was the only thing they had in common. Other than that, they were very different.

The one in the middle was a brown bear with a black top hat and matching bow. It had blue eyes and a black and silver microphone in one of its hands. To the bears left was a purple bunny with similar features as the bear. He had long bunny ears, green eyes, and a large red guitar in its hands. On the other side of the bear was what looked like a duck at first glance.

I took a closer look and realized, it was not a duck but a chicken. The chicken was yellow with an orange beak with small teeth lining the mouth. It's head had a tuft of plastic "feathers" on top. It had a bib with muticolored triangles and pizzas all over it with words that said "LET'S EAT", a purple stomach, and orange legs from the knee down. The feet of the chicken had curved claws that looked razor sharp. In its hand was a pink cupcake on a plate with eyes, a set of buck teeth, and a candle.

I turned back to Mike. "You work on the children's animatronics? That can't be too hard." He shut the door and shook his head.

"It's alot harder than you think. Those buggers are really complicated on the inside. The bear is Freddy Fazbear, the chicken is Chica the Chicken, and the rabbit is Bonnie the Bunny." I laughed.

"Such original names." He laughed with me.

"That's true. We also have another one in the back named Foxy the Pirate Fox." I raised an eyebrow at him

"I'm going to make a wild guess. It's a fox." He put his hand over his heart, sarcastically.

"How'd you guess?" We laughed some more. "Alright, I'm going to grab my toolbox. Stay put and watch out for that door." I saluted.

"Yes sir." He laughed and went back inside the restaurant. I waited a couple of minutes before wondering what was taking Mike so long. I went inside and were met with a blonde hostess.

"Hello, welcome to Freddy Fazbears Pizzeria. Table for, how many?" I shook your head.

"Oh, I'm not here to eat." She smiled.

"Then are you here for the job opening?" I was intrigued. I definitely needed one of those. "Come with me." She led me past all the commotion of the main dining room and down a hallway. She reached a room and walked in, gesturing for me to stay where I was. I heard her say,

"Excuse me, sir. There's someone here who's interested in the job opening." There was silence for a long moment, then a deep voice said,

"Bring them in." I took that as a cue to go in. I walked in and saw a man sitting behind a desk. He looked up at you. He had messy red hair and green eyes. He stood up and you noticed his clothes. He was wearing a light blue button up shirt with a yellow badge on one of the breast pockets, black dress pants, and white sneakers. "Hello, my name is Paul. It's so nice to meet you. You're here for the job?" I smiled.

"My name's Rhia. I wasn't here for the job originally, but my car broke down out front. I met someone who offered to fix it. I came inside for a moment and heard about the job opening. I was interested because I'm currently between jobs." He looked at the tablet in front of him for a moment.

"Well, it's the nightshift. Do you think that's something you're willing to do?" I nodded,

"I don't do much of anything anyway so that sounds fine." He sighed.

"Thank you so much. We really need a nightguard. Can you come in tonight?" I nodded again.

"Definitely. What's the pay?" He chewed on his lip,

"One hundred dollars a week. It's all we can afford, sorry." I nodded "That's fine. It's all I really need right now." He sighed in relief and reached into one of the desk's drawers and pulled out a badge like his and a hat that said "SECURITY" over the front.

"This is the part of the uniform we give. Please wear a blue or purple button down shirt with it. Pants and shoes don't matter. Please report here at 12 am for your shift." You thanked him and left. I walked back down the hallway, to the main dining room. I walked into Mike. He caught me before I could fall. He laughed.

"You ok there? I found my toolbox. Let's go fix your car." He let go of me and we made our way to my car. I filled him in on your new job on the way. He stopped in his tracks. He looked at you strange. "You took the night guard position?!" I furrowed your eyebrows, confused.

"Yeah.....?", I replied.

"I've heard rumors about that position. People have died or gone missing doing that position. Are you sure you want that job?!" I nodded slowly.

"I need the money. And it's probably not that bad." He sighed.

"Let's just fix your car. You're going to want to get some sleep for your shift tonight." He fixed my car and got it running. He gave me his phone number to keep in touch, just in case my car broke down again. He waved to me as I drove home.
