Okay.. so I don't usually write Love related poems..

but when I saw that such poems were doing quite well....

I decided to give it a shot...

Lifes a mystery...

Oh, what a life we've been leading.

Life seems to be full of surprises,

that sometimes it leaves us babbling

and sometimes leaves us with bruises.

Life, we thought was perfect

until everything came to this.

You left it all for me to predict

I thought I was your little princess.

Oh, how many nights I stayed awake,

How many days I was left squabbling

over this unexpected heartbreak.

My world came crashing down.

Life, I thought, was ours to keep

and nothing would get it in the way.

But I guess, its too big of a leap

we didn't even make it to Monday..

We had just started a life together.

It seems too soon and too fast

You were more to me than my butterfly's flower

and for the first time WE never seemed like a contrast!

It was a flash of bright light,

It was all too sudden for me

The pain seemed infinite

All I wanted to convey...

By the time the words slipped out

We were billions of lightyears apart

Yes, it was a dreadful wipeout

You'll always be my sweetheart!

Now I look at you through the gateways of heaven,

Don't cry.. I'll always be with you...

I've been here... this place called eden..

It was and will always be when I was with you...
