“HAHA, pikon ka pa din.” Sabi ni Vince at inakbayan si Cha.
“I’ll miss your annoyed face and your insults. Haayyy. I just want to bid my farewell before I go.”
“Aalis ka na?”- Cha. Huling summer na kasi dito ni Vince at paalis na din sila ni Micky papunta sa Manila para mag-aral ng college.
“I’ll be heading there earlier than I expected and the car is waiting for me. Nanggaling na ako sa inyo pero wala ka at sabi ng kuya mo dito ka sa park nagpunta. I never thought you can attract too much attention with that lousy short.”- Vince at muling tinignan ang suot ni Cha.
“Hoy, summer pa rin kaya. And this is better than your coat and tie. Pssh.”- Cha
“Wear some decent pants not shorts kahit nasa park ka lang ng subdivision natin pupunta. What if those guys come back? Aissh. Parehas pa naman kami ng kuya mo wala.”- pag-papaalala ni Vince.
“Being nice to me and saying those words doesn’t suit you.”- Cha. Bigla namang nag-ring ang phone ni Vince pero tinignan lang niya ito at hindi sinagot.
“Hinahanap na nila ako. Aissh. I’ll make this quick.” – Vince said smilingly.
And in the most unexpected time and place, Vince embraced Cha and tighter as seconds passed by.
“Take care Cha. And stay ill-mannered to other boys. Haha.” – masayang sabi ni Vince at lumakad palayo. Naiwan naman si Cha na pinagmamasdan ang pag-alis ni Vince. Kumaway ito sa kanya bago sumakay ng kotse at kumaway din si Cha.
“Goodbye Ethan Vince…” sambit ng mga labi ni Cha hanggang sa hindi na maabot ng kanyang mata ang sasakyan ni Vince.
