hello people who have somehow found my new book! i started writing this at girl scout camp and a lot of the girls there said that i should post it. i am a transboy myself, so i kinda relate to this story. if u r offended by the LGBTQA community (and not to b mean but just don't follow me or say anything mean in the comments, pls and thank you) don't read this since the main character is transgender and bi (like me XD) and it is about things he has to deal with. without further adieu have fun reading!!!

If you're a boy and you go to a boy scout camp, you would expect to the same right? Wrong. I am a boy. I am also not a boy. I am a boy in my head. But not on the outside.
No matter how "masculine" I act, no matter how much i dress "masculine", no matter how many times i correct them on their pronouns< my family still sees me as their daughter. It has been 5 years since i came out. 4 years since a therapist, yes even a therapist, said I'm transgender.
Were they shocked by the fact i wanted to go to a boy scout camp? No. Did they think i shouldn't go? Yes. Did they use excuses to explain why i shouldn't go? Yes. A lot of them. You're too feminine. You're a girl. You don't have the same parts. Blah blah blah...
They said they wouldn't pay for it, though. Not surprised to be honest. But i knew this would happen, so guess who's been saving up money for the past year? This guy. I have been working my butt off to pay for two months away from hell. AKA my family.
Once I finally got all the money, i got registered. I purposely told my parents the day before i left so they couldn't say no. I packed my bags and went on the bus on my way to a 2 month paradise. Or so i thought.
