When Emily hugged me yesterday I thought that I had a chance. How am I supposed to show how I feel if I can't even build a friendly relationship with her? I fell asleep on the thought.
"Morning Dilan," my youngest brother Ash greeted.
"Morning Bro," I said while making breakfast. Ash is 14 and it is my brothers and I job to protect him.
"I smell something delicious," a sleepy voice said. It was the second oldest, Killian. I'm 18 and Killian's 17. Killian and I aren't as close as we used to be. When we were younger, we used to be best friends. But after our parents died we began to grow apart. And as we grow older we become more and more distant.
"Good morning Killian."
"Morning." Killian didn't even stay in my room after I spoke to him.
Walking out of the room, Killian bumped into the twins, Raz and Alec. They're 15, but Raz is the oldest by seven minutes. These two are almost exactly alike. Their looks, the way they act, the way they talk, they mine as well be the same person. The only problem they have is that they don't really get along. But that doesn't keep them form loving each other and spending lots of time together. They're best friends.
"What ya cookin'," my brother Pierce came in and rubbing his eyes. Pierce only had his underwear on!
"Peirce, why aren't you dressed? You're supposed to be at school in twenty minutes. Ash is already dressed and ready to go." I always try not to be too bossy, but I'm the oldest and I'm in charge of all of them.
"Ok, Ok, I'm on it," he said holding up his hands and walking out of the room. We all don't go to the same school. It's better and smarter that way. The twins go to the school, Killian and I go to the same school and Alec and Peirce, who is 16 goes to the same school. Killian was sick yesterday so he didn't go to the school with me but today he will.
30 minutes later, Killian and I left to go to school. Everyone else left 15 minutes ago. We both walked to school in silence. That's OK though, I thought about Emily the whole way there.
Emily's POV
Uggghhh!" School again. Why must my life be so boring.
"Heeeey Eeemily," Katelyn said, she greeted me with a mean snarl on her face. Her "squad" was following her while she walked alongside me. "I heard Alexander asked you out on a date. Is this true?"
"Yeah, why?"
"Maybe, because he's meant for me not you." All her friends started snickering and giggling.
I glanced at her Posey and asked," Oh, really? Than why hasn't he asked you out yet?" Katelyn's expression was blank. She and her friends stalked off. She has been defeated. I walked to homeroom triumphed.
I avoided Dilan all day. Even on the only class that I have together. I quickly walked out when the bell rang. While walking home I felt guilty. Dilan doesn't deserve this. I've been so mean to him. I need to stay away from him though. I walked home quickly only thinking about my date with Alex. How will it go? What will happen? Will I forget about Dilan? All my questions will be answered Sunday. Until then, I'm going to have to wait.
It was finally the last school day of the week. Dilan wasn't even at school today. It kinda missed him.
Dilan's POV
She avoided me Thursday I'm not stupid, and I didn't go to school yesterday. I found out Thursday while she's been avoiding me that she is going on a date with her "friend" Alex tomorrow. So, instead of going to school I decided to go hunting with my brothers. I couldn't bear to see Alex or Emily. I probably done something stupid, and out of control.
Emily's POV
Nala helped me get ready for my date with Alex. She was more than happy to help.
"I'm so excited. My little Emily getting ready for her first date. And with her best friend. Talk about friendships turning into relationships!"
"It's really nothing Nala. We're just going to the movies and out to eat."
"What do you mean nothing this is your first date. You should be excited too. You never go out."
"Nala, nobody got time for that.
"Whatever, I know you're excited somewhere in there," she mumbled. Nala dressed me in a red crop top, red leather pants, black combat boots and a black leather jacket. She even did my hair and makeup.

The theater isn't that far so I walked. I arrived around 6:15 p.m. Alex came five minutes later.
"You look beautiful," said he.
"Thank you," I blushed a little. "You don't look too shabby yourself." He walked over and hugged me. I hugged him back and kissed him on the cheek. This should be fun.
