The Life Of Callie

Intro

"Ryker still hasn't texted me" Mckenzie said in a whiney voice.

"Oh i'm sorry, maybe double text him?" Callie replied trying to make her best friend satisfied.

Ryker was Mckenzie's "guy" they weren't dating but they were more than friends. He is close with Callie also, everybody at school thinks they're flirting but really they're just close friends, Callie has tried to keep her distance from Ryker so she doesn't make her best friend assume.
Mckenzie really liked him, but she didn't know how to tell him. Ryker was popular, not too popular but he was popular. He had lots of girls crushing on him, but Mckenzie was his girl. He had lots of mood swings where he would want to ask her out but than the next day he would be avoiding her, because he's "scared to lose her" so when he talks to her he gets sad. Right now he is really making it seem like he doesn't like her anymore, and he barely will talk to her.
"Should i end things with him soon" Mckenzie asked seeming disappointed.

"Honestly yes, you deserve so much better than this. You should end it before he does it yourself." Callie replied.

"I miss him. You know, talking to him." Mckenzie says.

"I know how you feel. I haven't seen Carter since last month."

Carter was Callie's boyfriend. They dated for a week during grade 8 close to the end of the year, she broke up with him because she wasn't ready for a relationship. But when summer hit they started talking again, when she was ready to date, then he asked her out. They were both super happy together. Callie was in love with him, but she hadn't told him yet. Mckenzie has a big butt, so she thinks that Carter would leave her if Mckenzie wanted him in a heartbeat. Carter was not that type of guy. Carter had beautiful hazel eyes with very long eyelashes. Callie never told him this, but she fell in love with his eyes.
Carter also had long dark brown hair, he wasn't very tall. Callie had dark brown hair with hazel eyes too. Maybe that's why they were such a cute couple. They have been together a month now since summer started, and they only went on one date since Callie left town right after they started dating. They haven't kissed yet and they both seem determined to.
