A young girl at the age of ten stood outside in the rain. She was within the walls of her sheltered mansion, looking up into the sky. A middle aged woman walked outside while holding an umbrella to protect her from the rain. She knelt down next to the child and spoke, "Sweetie, why don't you come inside and dry yourself off. It's getting awfully cold out here". The child looked to the woman for a few seconds before speaking, "But mother, he will be lonely out here. You won't let him in, so I have to stay out here to keep him company" she said. The mother sighed, "Just in the breezeway okay? No farther. I don't want any evil creatures in my home. Only because of your caring heart will I allow this. Now come on. I'll go fetch some towels". The child reached out her hand into the darkness. She came out holding hands with a human-like creature, but taller than a human by two feet, if not more. "Come on, Jeje! Let's get inside and warm up!" the child said happily. The being that went by 'Jeje' followed her, with three paper bags on his head. "Yes" it said in a deep voice.

I gasped as I woke up from the dream. It was a reoccurring dream that I was having for years. I come from a family of wealth. Second only to the Alicein family. Only a year ago did I venture out on my own. My parents got annoyed with my crazy antics and want for adventure. I took a plane to North America, and there my journey began to find who I am. I have traveled to many different countries and met many wonderful people. I have found a love for old priceless relics. I search all thinkable, and unthinkable, places for items hidden from people's eyes.

Hi there. Must be very confusing at the moment for you, so let me explain some things. I was a high school graduate, but had no idea what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I was working at a coffee shop and stayed in the dark of my room. That was my daily schedule. Everything was confusing to me. I was also different than most people. For one, I was a girl who was not afraid of spiders or snakes. Honestly, I adore snakes. Second, I was a shorty. Third, I belonged to one of the few super rich families in the area. I had a feeling my calling was somewhere else for the time being. After two more months of working, I took a flight to England which my parents paid for. The rest would have to be paid for by me. That was how my story began.

One day, I met a very interesting person in Brazil. The one thing I do remember about the man was that he was very protective of his doll which he called Abel. I couldn't bring myself to criticize him, for he owns a beautiful snake. I had never seen anything like it, and I can't find another one like it in the world, no matter how hard I try.

At the moment, I am making my way back to Japan. I highly doubt anyone will recognize me, aside from my height. I am five foot, which means I am short. Probably the same height as Misono Alicein. That short bastard thinks too highly of himself. Any middle class person he meets he puts down. I barley remember his older brother, but he was a kind man. Super tall, but kind. I think his name was Mikuni, it's been so long that I barley remember him.

I stretch out my body in the plane's chair I sat in. It's roomy for me since I'm short. The perks of being a short person. Looking up, I saw a familiar looking hat. Only one person in the world had a hat like that. I lifted up the hat to reveal dark blonde hair. It was him, the strange man I met in Brazil. What are the odds that we would be heading to the same place? In Japan of all places. I sat back down and placed the hat on my head. He was talking with his doll he called Abel. A minute later, he realized it was missing. He turned around to see me smiling at him. "Hey there. It's been awhile. " "Yes. It certainly has been. What are you doing in Japan? " "Checking in on friends. What are you doing? " "Father wanted me to come back. Might as well get it over with. " At that moment, one of the airplane workers came up to me, handing me a letter. "This comes from your mother ". I then went quiet. I knew the other traveler was watching me. I opened the letter and began reading.

Dear daughter. I have tried being patient with you. I let you go and travel for years now, hoping you would come back. Well, dear, I can't wait any longer. I am not longer considering you my daughter. You have no rights to the family fortune. Your brother is now the heir to the family. I'm sorry, but I had no choice in the matter.

After the plane ride, which took forever, he spoke to me, asking a request of me, "Before this day ends, I want to speak with you in private" I then gave him my number so he could call me when he wanted to. When he saw me, he abruptly gave me a hug. He looked down at me since I was almost a foot shorter than him. "I know you are hurting" he began, "And believe me when I say I know how you feel. So this is why I'm doing what I'm about to do" he finished. He took the snake from a pocket inside his jacket and put it in my hands. "I want you to have him. His name is originally Doubt Doubt, but call him whatever you like. He helped me when I needed someone the most" Mikuni then ran off with Abel in his hands, yelling something about being alone with her at last. I shook my head in disbelief and looked at the snake. "What beautiful scales. . . I wonder what kind of snake you are. Mister Mikuni said I can call you whatever I want. I think I'll call you Jeje. It sounds right with your beauty". The snake wrapped around my arm, at least he was comfortable with me.
