Hi, my name is Leah. I'm 15 years old, and I'm a millionaire. A lot of people think that having a lifestyle like me is easy. Well, not always. For example, you need to find out who are real friends. A LOT of people will try to take advantage of being your friend. They expect you to take them to all of these events and buy the expensive gifts all the time. But like me, you get used to it pretty fast. Especially when you have 44,5K Instagram followers. I share my most outrageous stories and daily videos. On top of that, I spend lots of time planning and posting things on my page. But most of my free time consists of hanging out with friends and partying.
Lots of people find my schedule insane for my age, but it's all I've ever known my entire life. As I grew up in a wealthy neighborhood, my parents had me doing all sorts of activities after school. They also taught me the importance of social interaction and having contacts. Nothing helps you out as much as name dropping in our society.
Today is the first day of school after summer break. Can't believe I'm already in sophomore year. It feels like I've been in high school forever but also a week. I have India to thank for the time passing. India's my best friend since Elementary school. We have similar lives, since she lives in another rich neighborhood nearby. She's also famous on Instagram with about 10K followers. She's not a model, but she likes to upload makeup related videos on her page.
I walk through the big entrance doors and I'm immediately met with all the stares and whispers. As my usual daily routine, I walk into the bathroom to make sure I'm walking perfection, or at least that's what everyone else thinks. I use this time to put on some jewelry and touch up my makeup. I can't live without my fenty beauty lipgloss.
I'm met by a familiar voice "Hello gorgeous"
I meet India's grin and we hug each other like we're trying to suffocate each other.
"How are you?" I ask her, waiting for some gossip that she always seems to know.
"Oh honey, I was just about to ask you the same thing." I look at her with an uncertain look.
"What do you mean?" I ask.
"Oh you haven't seen it? It's bad. It's really bad."
She unlocks her phone and enters TikTok.
"I can't believe you've actually gotten that cursed app," I laugh at her.
"Oh trust me when I say I didn't want to, but you need to see this."
She showed me a video of a brunette girl dancing on a pool table and immediately throwing up, still holding a glass of vodka in her hand. I get chills through my whole body. It's me.
