chapter one

You arrive at camp Campbell and see a big sign that says camp camp but the bell seems to have faded off, while in thought you were interrupted by a man who had dark red hair waving his hand in front of your face. You snapped out of your day dream and looked at the man, he had a yellow bandana around his neck and a brown best and a green shirt with a darker green pine tree and he was wearing fishing Short's. "Well hello there, you must be (Y/N)! My name!es David your co-counselor. And this is Max!" David said pointing towards the boy standing beside him. The boy had black hair aqua blue eyes and tan skin. He looked at you for a moment then looked away. You looked at David and put your hand out, he gladly returned the offer.
"Yep I'm (y/n). Nice to meet you!" You said with a smile. "Hey Max why don't you tell her how much you like it here and how great it is!" David looked at Max while smiling. "It's truly horrifying!" Max said with a sarcastic look. You giggled at that no one noticed because David was talking to Max "Max please be nice to the new camper" " I wasn't being rude to her" Max said with an annoyed look. You were tired and hungry so that made you mad. " Can someone please show me my tent" you said angrily. David looked at you and noticed how tired you were. " Of course right this way!" "Welcome to hell" Max wisperd to you. " Had a feeling" you said back. He just smirked at your response.

You get to the tents and David showed you yours and then left to the other children. While you were setting up you felt like someone was watching you you turned around to see nothing. You shrugged it off and kept doing what you were doing you still felt paranoid.

You finished unpacking you sleeping bag and stuff then left your tent and went to the mess hall. When you got there you were by a girl with blue green hair and pink eyes, you looked at her for a moment then said hi she then noticed you weren't shy so she started talking to you." Hi my name's Nikki whats yours?" She said really fast. " My name's (y/n)" you said. She looked at you then said "your smart!" You were very confused by this."what do you mean?" You asked her. " You didn't put you hand out to shake my hand I bite people when they do that I do that the way i show dominance!" She said proud. "I had a feeling!" You said laughing. " She then stuck out here and and said "well then we'll get along great!" You took her hand and shook it. " I hope we will!" She then grabbed your hand again and started dragging you towards Max and another boy, he had light brown hair and blue eyes. "Neil, Max this is (y/n)!" She said very excited. "Hi" you said. " Hello (y/n) I'm Neil and I'd like you to know that i-" "a nerd"Nikki interrupted."I'm not a nerd I'm a man of science!" Neil said very full of himself. "And I respect that" you said he looked at you shook, he then looked at Max and wisperd something to him. " Of course she real you fucking idiot"he said to Neil. You smile faded and you looked away thinking about your past. Max, Nikki and Neil were looking at you. You didn't realize it. You shivered at the thought of your parents. You looked up to see the three looking at you worried, your eyes got big and you panicked to say something " s-s-sure cold o-o-out here" you said trying to make it look like that was the problem, you failed. "(Y/n) are you ok?" Neil said first. Your eyes were still really big "um (y/n) it's the middle of summer the sun's out and there's no breeze?" Nikki said confused. "(Y/n) your not ok"he said putting he's hand on your shoulder, he had a confused but concerned look. "And your wearing long sleeves?" Nikki added. You looked at your arms and the were starting to feel itchy, you scratched at the one and said " because I can" " have to go" you said then walked away not saying anything else.

You got to your tent and looked at you arms, you rolled down your sleeves back to how you always have them, you were about to cry but David yelled on the speaker it was lunch.
You put on your (f/c) hoodie and put the hood on and walked over to the mess hall you got lunch and sat were no one was sitting and just stared at it then threw it out and left.

(Max's p.o.v)
-whats wrong with her? I want to know? I HAVE to know.
WHATS wrong with you Max you hate everything. Almost everything-
"What's up Max you haven't said anything all lunch?" Neil asked.
"The thing is I don't know what's wrong!" You yelled at Neil. "Calm down Max, you can tell us" Nikki told you. "Not here you said and left the mess hall.

You got to your tent and sat on your bed."What's wrong with me!"you yelled, then flopped on your bed. Neil came in with Nikki, they looked scared. "Max?"Nikki asked. "Are you ok?"Neil asked right after Nikki had. "No." You said and rolling over in your bed to face the wall. Neil looked at Nikki then back at you. "What's wrong?" He said. You sat up and took a deep breath. "I... I think I k-kinda l-like (y/n)." They looked at me in shock. "WHAT?" Nikki yelled "shhhh you fucking retard, no one else needs to know." Max said not as rude as usual. " But (y/n) probably doesn't like me back" "you never know"Neil said with a smile. "Were did Nikki go?" Your eyes widened, you looked out of the tent towards were Nikki now was, she was talking to (y/n)!!!
