"CAMILE!"
"Uuf, why is she already shouting in the morning?" Sneers Camile, while looking at the clock at the wall.... It is only 7 am...
"CAMILE!"
"OMG mother, what do you want?" shouts Camile, while shoving her head in the pillow once again.
*KNOCK* *KNOCK*
The door swings wide open, while the irritated mother stands in the doorframe.
"Why aren't you answering me, young lady? How many times, do I have to call you, before you finally move your ass out of that bed?" scowls Cami's mother. She looks agitated while looking at Camile, for her to finally move.
"OH gosh mother, I was trying, but I didn't have the opportunity to get out before you came and kicked my door open!" grumbled Cami. "-And what do you want at 7 AM?" She sighed in frustration, just waiting for her mother to get out, so she could lie in her warm, soft bed and get to sleep again without any complaints.
"OH, did you forget?"
"Forget what Mother?" Cami looks baffled.
"It is your first day! You'll be lectured by the greatest witch Margery!" Cami's mother squealed excitedly. "If I was in your place, I would've died happily"
"Oh, I forgot it was today.. Then I should probably put some clothes on, can't go out in pajamas well?" Cami sighed knowingly.
"That would be a good idea, Camile!" She smiled and were about to close the door when she stopped in her tracks. "You know what? I'm so proud of you Camile..." Before walking down the stairs, Cami's mother closed the door and left.
"Thanks, mother." Cami smiled.
The only reason Cami accepted to be Margery's apprentice is to make her mother proud, Cami knew she would make her happy by accepting the request, therefore she put her own dreams on hold, Cause since she was a little child, she had always wanted to travel around every corner of the world, to see many wonderful creatures and learn from all of her experience.. Now She has become a little bored of her little peaceful hometown, cause she has never been out of here, she has never seen the world, only heard from tails. But becoming Margery's apprentice wasn't so bad after all, cause the lecture apartment would be out of town, close by the Nymphlake and the Greywoods, and from what she has heard there would sometimes be werewolves out there, and she was amazed by those creatures.
When Cami put her clothes on and the bag over her shoulder she went down to her family, they were already sitting at the table and eating breakfast. Her father had stuck his nose into the daily newspaper, making the glasses on his nose placed at the tip, While his light brown hair was everywhere due to his sleep. Her little sister Leah, swung her hand in the air trying to move the spoon out of the bowl of cereal, she focused her bright green eyes, while the auburn hair fell over her face, but when she couldn't move the spoon more than 2 cm, she groaned out in frustration. With the flick of her wrist, Cami moved the spoon out of the bowl and into Leah's mouth. The little girl was caught surprised.
"Good morning Cami," Cami's father muffles.
"Jason! Don't talk with food in your mouth!" Cami's mother says pointing at her husband with a Big tree spoon.
"Well, there isn't Anything In there, Penelope" Camis father Jason says While blinking at her.
Penelope looked at Jason for a long while, deciding if she should argue more or just go back to the food in the oven. She made a *hum* sound and swung the other way around facing the oven once again, her beautiful auburn hair fell over her back in curls down to the waist, and she had the brightest emerald green eyes, that could make every woman jealous and enchant every man facing her way. Although she is a witch and she could be using some kind of enchantment, but it would probably be the first one if you asked her herself. Well despite Cami's looks, she doesn't look like her mother at all, Cami's hair is wavy and light brown, and she has hazel colored eyes. She resembles her father more, which agitates her, cause her little sister Leah looks like the spitting image of her mother, the only thing that tells them apart, is the age and the slightly different eye colors.
"So, what are you guys doing, so soon in the morning?" Cami asks.
"Hmmm?" They all say in unison.
Cami tries again, "why are you up so early in the morning, there's no work and school?"
"We were just waiting for our sweetheart, to come down and grace us with her company," Jason says.
Cami looked at her father dumbfounded, "that still doesn't explain why you're all awake, so early in the morning."
"We just wanted to be there on your first day, Camile" Penelope explains proudly.
"My sister will be the greatest witch, ever!" Leah says with a big smile on her face while throwing her hands in the air.
"Well, it isn't because the whole world is filled with witches. It is only in this small town.." Cami says a little too fast.
"There isn't so many of us, that is true. But that is why we are so special," says Penelope while smiling at Cami. "But it is still very cool, if you became the greatest witch ever, you would probably be on the council, and one day I'll be shouting, THAT IS MY LITTLE GIRL!" Penelope says, shouting the last bit while earning a glare from her daughter.
Jason sticks his head out of the newspaper and looks at his daughter. "You'll accomplish something big in this world, you'll definitely change this place for the better, a place where hmm... You know, where everyone will feel like they belong here!"
"Wow dad, don't have such high hopes for me, now it feels like, I weight the whole world on my shoulders.," Cami says a little skeptical.
"You only have to do the right thing for you, the thing that feels right to do deep inside, even though it probably won't be like everyone else," Jason says calmly.
"That is why I don't have any friends," Cami mumbles to herself.
"Camile you should keep going, or else you'll be late for your first lecture," Penelope says while gracing her daughter a smile.
"Yeah yeah, I know mother," Cami says fastly while checking if all of her belongings are in the bag.
When she made a quick check on everything, she gives them all a hug and bid them farewell... Cami was nearly out of the door when someone grabbed her hand. "What The..." Cami stares at her mother's face. She looks extremely pale and has a very firm grip on her daughter's wrist, and her eyes stare off in the blue like she's looking at something or someone.
"M-mother wha-what iss wrong?" Cami says frightened.
Penelope blinks like she has just come out of a trance. "Nothing sweetheart, why are you asking?" Penelope says while she still stares out in nothing.
"Mother if you want me to, I could go to lecture another day," Cami says, still a little off by her mother's behaviour.
"No-no go," Penelope says while she practically pushes her daughter out of the door.
"Okeey," Cami says still not convinced. But decides that the only option is to get to the lecture. She takes a few steps and turns around. Her mother is still standing in the door frame, watching her, or more like something behind her. Cami waves at her, but she still doesn't budge. Cami's heart races, her breathing hitches, she decides to take very fast steps, not turning around in the process, like her final destination is at the lecture.
*RIIING* *RIIING*
Penelope walks into the kitchen and takes the phone while listening to what the other caller want. Leah looks at her father confused, no one ever calls, the neighbors walk up to their front door, if they want to hang out or if they need anything.
"Yes, of course. We will be there soon!" Penelope says while hanging up.
"Who was it?" Jason questions.
"It was the council, there is a town meeting now. It must be something pretty urgent if they called every household," Penelope says seriously.
"Then let us get going," Jason says while he takes his jacket and pulls it over his shoulders.
