"(Y/n)?" Peter called, snapping her back to focus.

"Hmm?"

"Uhm, we're here." He pointed towards a door, his keys in his hand.

(Y/n) nodded, pulling her shirt down and fixing it.

Peter then placed the key inside the door knob. But to his surprise, the door was already open! Listening closely, he believed that he heard the sink's tap running, maybe even plates being washed. And... someone blasting 80's rock music?

(I just felt like she would.)

"She's home early.." Peter muttered, his hand still on the door knob.

"Who's early?" (Y/n) furrows her eyebrows.

"Oh," Peter nervously chuckled, suddenly keeping his voice down. "My aunt."

"Aunt?" (Y/n) felt a little awkward. "Does she not want anyone over? Because I could always–"

"No!" Peter accidentally yells. He held his mouth and hoped he didn't alert his aunt. "Its not like that. Its just–" he sighed. "Can I tell you a secret real quick?"

(Y/n) nodded.

"Okay," He rubbed the back of his neck. "You're the first girl I've ever brought over..."

"Oh, Peter, I–"

"And May could be a little... too over reactive." He tried finding correct words. "So, uhm. Heads up. She might accidentally freak you out or something, but-- just know that she's just a very cheerful and optimistic person."

"I like her already." (Y/n) smiled, adjusting her backpack once again. "Alright, let's go."

Peter sighed, then nodded. Hesitantly, he twisted the metal knob and slowly pushed it, opening the door. Through the door's small opening, Peter was able to see his aunt, dancing whilst washing the dishes. He held back a laugh, placing his hand on his mouth.

"May?" He called, fully opening the door, causing (Y/n) to flinch. "You're home?"

"Oh! Hey, Pete!" May chimed back without turning her head. "Our meeting was canceled. Boss said we could take the rest of the day off."

She turned the tap off, shaking her hands as she allowed water to drip from it. She walked towards the fridge and wiped her hands with the white cloth dangling from it's handle. She gave Peter a warm smile, engulfing him into a hug.

Peter hugged back, but then let go as soon as he did. "So, May." He began, a little nervous. "I brought a friend over."

"Oh, you did?" May responded, walking off to the other side of the room. She turned down the loud music she was playing.  "Is it Ned?" Her voice echoes through the walls.

"N-No, Its a new friend of mine. She's a transfer student."

May immediately rushes back to Peter, her expression mixed with surprise and somewhat disbelief. "Wait. . . she?!"

"Yes, May. Please calm down."

"What are you taking about?!" She laughed. "I AM CALM." She yelled hopping up and down. "So, where is she? Your friend?"
