Chapter 1: Aya

Aya P.O.V.

Hi my name Aya Dunn but everyone calls me Aki. I'm 14 years old.

I have short blue hair and blue eyes.

I'm in the 10th grade. Well I use to be.

I've been sent to protect a vampire prince. I was told. But more like I'm his servant and blood supply.

1 month earlier-----

I'm currently walking to the office at my school. I was called down. They said it was a emergency.

I open the door and a police officer is standing there.

Police man "Are you Aya Dunn?"

"Yes sir."

Police Man " I'm here to inform you and your younger brother that your parents have died in a explosion. We are currently investigating. I giving you notice, because of our new law. Boys in the family are to be sent to protect the vampire prince. While the girls are sent to a group home. You don't belong to a family so the law can send you anywhere. Do you understand?"

"Yes sir I understand."

I leave the office and run to find my brother. I can't have him sent to a vampire he's to weak.

As I'm running down the halls I see him walking out of Miss Harper's Math class.

"Aki I'm glad I found you. Mom and Dad are dead. A officer told me your going to be sent to a vampire."

Aki "Aya I don't understand why are they dead."

"I'm not really sure. All I know is we need to get out of here."

I grab Aki's hand and I pull him to the exit of the school.

We make outside of the school. Aki pulls back to stop me.

Aki "Aya stop pulling me what's wrong with you?"

"I told you. Since Mom and Dad are dead. They are sending you to a vampire. If you are sent to a vampire you will die for sure."

Aki "Sister I don't want to go to a vampire. Why do vampires control humans now?"

"I don't know. A few months ago they surfaced and revealed them selves. They made a law all human males with no family be made their slaves or protectors."

We start walking home. I hold onto Aki's hand making sure he doesn't disappear. Deep down I'm really scared. I have a deep feeling of being left alone. I fear darkness I love the light.

Aki tightens his grip on my hand and I come back to my reality. I look at him and try to keep a smile. Tears make there way down my face.

At that moment I bump into some one while walking. I make a complete stop and look up.

I see a man with short red hair and piercing red eyes that have something supernatural about them.

He takes the tip of his finger and wipes away my tears. As I'm staring at him.

I back away quickly and bow down to him.

"I'm sorry sir I wasn't watching where I was going."

Man " It's no problem deary. And your secret is safe with me."

He hands me a contact. I cover up my eye real quick.

I was born with two different colored eyes. But I wonder why he said he'd keep it a secret.

I turn back to look at him and he winks at me. I feel darkness from him. Like he's not human.

Aki "Aya come on let's go."
