When we entered the book store people stared and Elizabeth squeezed my shoulder and I took out the list,she smiled and grabbed some of the books Abraxas and me doing the same. When we reached the owner he didn't serve us and I knew why, in the end, I told them I'd step outside, Elizabeth followed me not trusting others around us.
When I stepped out I bumped into Granger. I caught her by the waist and slowly lifted her up. Her breath tickled my face but all I could do was stare in her eyes. She blushed and coughed "I'm sorry I wasn't looking where I was going." I blinked and smiled weakly. "Its okay." She nodded and slowly I let go of her. Abraxas came out. "What else did you need Draco?" He spoke. "Um I need a new owl and some robes." They nodded ams Granger bid goodbye, and I followed them to the pet shop, blushing as aunt Elizabeth told Abraxas what happened with Granger. "She seems nice, and quite pretty." I mumbled under my breath. But the didn't catch it.

When we entered I went straight to the owls and fell in love with the owl named Artemis. I opened her cage and she flew onto my arm. I smiled and handed her a treat before I placed her back in the cage she pecked me in annoyance and I smiled and bought her. But like the other owner of the book shop,he refused to serve me so Elizabeth tried, we all did. But we all failed. "Come on I'll be out of you hair once I bought my owl!" I reasoned. He shook his head no and we all sighed. "Excuse me can you please serve Mr Malfoy so I can eventually leave." Granger spoke with the Wesley's and Potter behind her. "I can serve you now." He spoke. She clenched her jaw. "Serve him first then me." She spoke. He narrowed his eyes and she smirked a smirk that could send me crying. I looked at the man to see he looked kind of shocked. "You dare talk to me like that you filthy little mudblood!" As soon as the word left his mouth, I grabbed the back of his head and smashed it of the counter,rendering him unconscious. "Hypocrite!" I snapped before I went around the corner and paid. I then turned to Granger. "I can do this myself Malfoy,thanks anyway. I smiled and the man groaned, and me and Granger hit him with a book. I smiled weakly and she did the same before we walked to the door.
Abraxas and Elizabeth stopped me when we were out the door. " I'm not apologising, he deserved it and I'm not my father." I spoke. Elizabeth nodded and Abraxas sighed before we left to get my robes.
