She sat on a bench watching as leaves fell with each gust of the crisp autumn wind. Silent tears streamed down her face as she looked on at the beautiful scene. It was like that he found her. He slid on to the bench and put his arm around her, attempting to give her some warmth in the freezing cold. "Hey love" he murmured "you okay?". She sighed and took his arm off of her. "As I'll ever be" she sighed again. "You can tell me anything you know" he said. She hummed in response. A small snowflake landed on her nose, she quickly wiped it off and turned to look at him. "I saw you and Erin by the way" she whispered. A look of panic spread across his face. "I-I don't kn-now what your-your talking about-t" he stammered. "It's alright" she looked down "it's ok". She stood up, he made an attempt to stop her but she shrugged it off. "I-it was an acc-" but she was gone. Walking down the bendy path, her footprints embedded in the snow behind her and the moonlight catching her fading figure. It was the image artists can only dream of. Yet he let it go so easily.
