i've never actually decorated the cover of any of my sketchbooks before, so i'm happy i was finally brave enough to. i decided to do a merm bc i really like them and they're pretty

honestly it could be better like it's a bit messy but thats okay its a sketchbook so it doesnt have to be perfect, not that art ever is anyways

for the most part i really like how it turned out though, especially after i added the gold

i'm super excited for this sketchbook especially since i'm doing this with gia, we're attempting a kind of matching theme on most pages so that'll be interesting

i showed it to my mom bc i was proud of it and she just kinda nodded and didn't really say anything :')))) i was just like okay the pride and love is radiating off you thanks

this book will probably also include some photography since that's a form of art too and because i'm now taking a photography class, so i might upload some of the pictures i take in there onto here along with some i already have taken
