Chapter 11

Daryls POV

"We'll soon see about that" I heard Zoe say, and with that, she shot him in both feet and his men started shooting, but they were quickly falling aswell, our group on the roofs were taking them out quickly, i started shooting with my crossbow, Michonne was fighting with her sword and Rick and Carl were shooting at them, so was Beth, but she was staying near me. Zoe was kicking Gareth, making sure he was the last one alive.

We eventually took out all of his men, and Zoe stood back from Gareth, he got up. "So you managed to take out all of them, but you wont have such a good time with me" He punched Zoe, I raised my crossbow and aimed at him. But Zoe quickly recovered and punched him back, so hard i heard bones crack, i didnt know if it was his skull or her knuckles, but i was impressed. He didnt react and Zoe put her gun to his head. "So i can't fight huh? Because im pretty sure ive done this to you easily enough" then there was a gunshot, but it was her shooting Gareth, it was Gareth shooting her. "NOO!" I screamed, Rick and Carl aimed their guns at him. Zoe didnt move, she didnt fall back, she was just stood there, blood was on the floor, but she hadnt collapsed, her gun was still at his head, then i heard another gun shot, and Gareth fell back, with a bullet wound in his head. She turned around, she had a bullet wound on her arm, but it didnt bother her, she just put pressure on it and said "and he thought i couldnt fight" and smiled. I quickly looked her arm, "we'll need to put a bandage on that" i told her, she nodded and walked over to Carl, "thankyou, for telling him to get me out" she hugged him. Then she came to me again "Thankyou aswell" Then she went to Beth, "I have no idea who you are but when i seen you look at Rick i knew you were part of this group, i instantly agreed to let them take me, you deserved to be with them more than me, thankyou for telling them to get me out" She hugged her and Beth hugged her back.

Zoes POV

The small blonde girl hugged me back. "Its okay, I'm Beth" She said and smiled. "Well its nice to meet you Beth" I smiled back. "BETH OH MY GOD BETH YOUR OKAY!" Maggie came running and hugged her. Thats when i remembered. This is Maggies sister, I smiled and looked at the two sisters hugging eacother, smiling and laughing. "Lets get back to Carol and Judith" Rick said, and we all started walking. Daryl came over, "You did well Zo" I smiled "Thankyou".

When we got back Carol put a bandage round my arm. I thanked her and the rest of the group had started a fire. We all sat down around it, I sat down between Daryl and Beth. Beth turned to me "How did you end up with the group, and why do they seem to like you so much already?" she asked, "well about 3 days ago my brother Jesse and I were running from a horde of walkers, and they got Jesse, i carried on running but collapsed and was just going to give up. then i heard gunfire and Daryl grabbed me and took me to a field with Rick following behind, i met Michonne and Carl and they said i could stay with them. the next day we got here and they took our weapons, but i kept a knife and gun hidden, these freaks never knew i had them, anyway, i managed to grab everyones weapons get them into the trailer we were stuck into. we found the rest of the group already in there, i gave everyone their weapons. The next day i went and found Judith for Rick, and surprised him with her. Then i found more guns, and i just risked my life to get you back into the group" she looked amazed. "Wow, you really are amazing, i can see us being good friends Zoe" Beth smiled, "I can too Beth".

"I think we should stay here and sleep tonight, in the trailer, just so we're safe. We can search the place tomorrow, and depending on how quick we do that, we will head out tommorow to find a place to stay, or we could make the defenses better here, clear the bodies and stay here." Rick said. Everyone agreed and we all got into the trailer, we got all the blankets that were found to make it a little more comfortable, and we all fell asleep reasonably quickly, knowing we were all safe here...for now.
