4. Training Begins!

"So it's worse than I thought, why have you come if you don't mind me asking" Sinbad questioned. 

"I saw what was happening to my city, I couldn't handle it anymore. I lived in the village and I had heard whispers from the soldiers that they would be sending some troops to the dungeon in hopes of conquering it and giving the metal vessel to the general they were having marry one of the kings daughters. So when they left, I trailed behind them and entered" I replied. 

"Interesting, and why did you come here?"

"I would like you to teach me how to properly use my metal vessel and to djiin equip" I replied "if  you would allow it" 

"I would, under one condition" He held up his index finger.

"What?" I asked. 

"I will teach you how to djiin equip, but I would ask that you stay here with us and fight among us whenever it is needed. Even though we just won a war against the Ko empire, I feel as if they are planning for another attack but bigger. They're regrouping, that's why they went after your city." 

"I promise" I nodded firmly. 

"Great!" Sinbad grinned. 

"So when does training start" I looked at him with a serious expression. 

Sinbad laughed "so serious, if you would like we can start now. Although I can only help you train for a couple of hours, because at sunset we are having a party" 

"what are we celebrating?" I asked confused. 

"well, every now and then we have a celebration where our warriors come and hunt a beast in our waters. We then feast on the meat we get from it and party the rest of the night" Sinbad explained. 

"it's really cool" alibaba chimed in, stars dancing in his eyes. 

"alright, sounds fun" I nodded grinning. 

Sinbad beckoned me to follow him and we walked back down the steps and around the castle to the back that looked like a large training ground. Both Sinbad and I stood in the middle while the others sat off the side to watch. 

A grey haired man, with golden chains around his neck came walking in, a blue haired woman with a witches hat and then a large man came walking after him. "what's goin on?" the grey haired man asked Alibaba. 

"oh hey Sharrkan, a new metal vessel user has come, Sinbad is going to teach her how to djiin equip but it looks like he's going to see her sword play first" Alibaba answered. 

"This should be interesting to see" Sharrkan replied. 

"I wonder how well of a fighter this young girl is" the large man leaned down, scratching his chin. 

The blue haired woman chuckled "we will have to see Hinahoho" 

"you are quite right Yahraiha" Hinahoho replied, leaning back setting down his massive red sword beside him. 

"Alright, lets see how your sword fighting is. I can't teach much of djiin equipping if your sword fighting is  terrible" Sinbad stated. 

I nodded firmly as I slowly pulled out my sword from it's sheath, getting into a stance I knew very well. Sinbad chuckled "I see, interesting stance, I see you've practiced some royal sword play" 

I gulped loudly "I've watched some of the soldiers fight, and the princess as well. I'm a quick study" I nearly tripped over my words. 

"well lets see how much of a quick study you really are miss (f/n)" SInbad challenged grinning. I grinned back and leaped forward my sword in hand, quickly Sinbad yanked his sword out of his sheath and the metal of our blades clashed together. I quickly moved my feet over to the left releasing my sword from his and thrust my hand forward, clashing my blade with his once more. We continued fighting each other until I stood there, my knees wobbling and my breath heaving.
