Chapter 2: The Date Part 1

•Alice's POV•

The rest of the day was alright. Nothing really special besides the greatest hug in the world.

After school I went home and straight to my computer. I said hi to my mom but as always, no answer.

I logged into tumblr and started going through my dash. I see humor posts, relationship posts, pretty much everything is on here. It's a whole different world in tumblr.

Whats great about blogging is that no one would know that if you're wearing pants or not. I read from tumblr. I laugh to myself and reblog it.

My stomach starts to growl and I believe its 5:15 and I haven't eaten in 5 hours.

Wow that's the shortest I haven't eaten.

I mentally high five myself as I head downstairs to make dinner for my family.

I decide to make spaghetti since it's Jason's favorite.

Half an hour has passed and dinner is ready. I serve my mom some and I call Jason down.

"Yaay! I love your spaghetti!" Jason says as he runs down the stairs.

"Go sit at the table," I say. "I'll be right back."

I take moms plate and go upstairs. I knock before I go in and I greet her. I gently lay the plate on her lap and she smiles.

"You know I love your spaghetti. It's delicious," she says as she takes a bite. I smile not showing one bit that I am shocked that she talked to me. I say thank you and quickly kiss her on her cheek. She smiles and I walk out of the door.

I think that has been the best family moment I have ever had.

I'm walking towards my locker and I hear people whispering,

"What does Austin see in her?"

"Why would he even hug her? I wouldn't want Alice germs."

"She's such a freak."

"He should have a crush on me instead of that loser."

Wait. Austin has a crush on me? That's impossible!

I slowly grab my books as Austin comes running by. The group of girls walk away annoyed.

"Hey Alice," he says smiling at me.

"Hello," I say, avoiding his eyes.

"I-I was wondering if yo-you would like to watch a m-movie with me?"

Austin Hemmings wants to watch a movie. With me? Is this some kind of a joke? I mean he's a pretty good actor 'cause he looks super nervous.

I turn to him and shut my locker, "Did someone d-dare you to ask me," I say slowly.

"Oh! N-"

"Look, Austin I know it was a dare and I'm sorry you had to do this. I'm going to say no because I don't want your social life to end," I saw quietly and I slowly walk away.

"End my social life?" He mumbles. He grabs my wrist, "It wasn't a dare Alice. I like you and I wanna get to know you better."

I smile.

"So is it still a no?" He asks.

I smile wider.

"I'd love to," I say still smiling.

"Great! I'll pick you up at 8:00!" He says excitedly and quickly kisses my cheek.

I smile even wider.

YASSSS FINALLY MY LIFE IS GETTING BETTER!

I walk away seeing people jaws drop after the scene. I smile and walk to class.

I scream semi loudly when I get home. My mom isn't home yet and only my little brother is here.

"Shut up!" He says from his room. I laugh and run towards my computer. I get a message from my best internet friend, Chynna.

ChyLikesFry: hey are you still at school?

Me: not anymore! Today is officially my best day ever!

ChyLikesFry: why as that Ally Bear?

Me: Chy! Oh my fudgers. You know Austin right?

Chy: omg that cute guy that you always talk about?

Me: yep, he asked me out to one of those drive in movies!!!

Chy: omfg no way! Ally I'm so happy for you! Eeeep! When is he gonna pick you up?

Me: at 8. I'm so excited!

Chy: wow we're so girly.

Me: I know it feels weird. cx

Chy: totally. Groody c;

We continue to message each other until it's 6:35.

I quickly say bye and I take a quick shower. I pick out a black dress with a golden cross in the middle of it. Or should I just wear jeans and a cute shirt? It's just a movie so I'll do the jeans.

I pick out a cute white shirt with red pocadots. I pick dark blue skinny jeans and soon enough it's 7:45.

I do my make-up perfect and I head out of the door.

Once I open it I see Austin about to ring the doorbell with a few red roses in his hands.

He smiles at me and looks at me up and down.

"I didn't wear anything fancy either so your not the only one," he winks and I laugh a little. He guides me to his car and opens the door for me. I get in and buckle my self in. Hey, safety always comes first.

This is gonna be great.
