Zendaya was feeling tired today, she wanted nothing more than to just run home and take a long luxurious nap in her bed with piles of blankets over her. Even though she was an outstanding student who never failed to impress her peers and teachers, she had her dull days just like any other human being would.

She was on her way to her economy class where she was a teacher assistant, she would make copies for Mrs. Deacon  and fetch anything the teacher needed as necessities. It was an easy A, and Zendaya was down for anything that could give her a few extra points. She tucked her loosely fitted grey t-shirt into her denim jeans a bit so it wouldn't look too long, gripping onto her backpack handle as a habit.

She walked into the classroom a few minutes early, she didn't care for break time too much because it wasn't like se had anybody to interact with anyway. Zendaya had a few friends, not extremely close but enough to keep her company but she wasn't a fan of finding them much. She was insanely independent, it was a blessing and a curse.

"Morning Mrs. Deacon," Zendaya politely greeted before going into the back office and setting down her belongings.

"Goodmorning to you too Zendaya, anything new?" Mrs. Deacon asked reassuringly. She was an extremely nice teacher, very patient and open with her students but she also made her work very complex which is what Zendaya adored about her teachings.

"Nothing much, I might be able to attend the Museum trip with the seniors but that's about it."

"Ahh, I knew you'd find your way on that trip. You're lucky you have Mr. Watkins."  She chuckled and Zendaya nodded.

They talked a bit more before Zendaya dismissed herself to use the restroom before class began. She was already in the hallway, walking past the crimson lockers before a few figures caught her attention.

She turned a corner and saw around four people, and one of them was Tom. He was propped up against a locker, backpack slung on one shoulder and his other hand stuffed in his pocket. He was talking with a friend nonchalantly, a smile on his face and of course his basketball by his feet and Zendaya mentally rolled her eyes.

He was talking with two other boys who were on the basketball team but Zendaya wasn't familiar with who they were. But that's not what caught Zendaya's attention.

The fourth person was a girl, a very pretty one in fact. She had thick almost jet black hair that cascaded down her back in a wave like motion, big brown eyes to match her fair skin complexion and red lipstick decorating her prominent features. The girl was attached to Tom's arm in an affectionate matter, looking up at him as he spoke and laughing at anything that came out of his mouth.

Zendaya didn't take Tom as the boyfriend type but then again people are full of surprises and she loves discovering new things. They looked rather happy, even though it didn't seem like Tom gave her much attention which was odd to Zendaya. Why would he disregard someone so gorgeous? It dawned on her but she ignored her thoughts.

She walked down the hallway they were in, as it was near the girls bathroom. She got closer to them and her anxiousness was starting to rise which was odd for her, she didn't care much about people's opinions and especially their presence. She kept her attention at the floor, watching her feet as she walked and as she grew closer to the bathroom doors, she looked up.

Her eyes met with Tom's as he gave her a quick look, staring at her face intently with wonder and Zendaya felt her face grow hotter by the second, surprisingly he smiled at her before looking away and averting his attention back to his friends.
