As i turned my head i begin to laugh,"Nah, you just get mad over stupid shit." I sit on the end of the couch trying to pull her closer to me but of course she jerks away, then proceeds to get up and go to our bedroom, causing me to roll my eyes.

"Girl get over yourself, if you learned how to listen to people then we wouldn't even be in this predicament." Joi, the girl i spoke to has been somebody i knew since before we met. I don't see why you're so mad." She rolls her eyes and puts earrings on, grabbing her phone and goes into the bathroom.

I walk out of the room and into the bathroom, watching her facial expression change as i walk behind her in the mirror. "I'm going out. My friend is coming to get me and you can't change that. Not like i want to be around you anyway." She slyly pushes pass me and walks out the house.

I see a car pull up , not just any car, Brielle's car and i immediately roll my eyes as Joi walks outside.

Joi's POV

"You good sis?" I swayed my hips to the raunchy but melodic music of Megan Thee Stallion, sipping on the mixed alcohol that my girl ordered for me. Don't know what it is, but it's what I needed. "Yes girl, I needed to get the fuck ASAP. I felt like I was gonna scream!", I laughed.

She giggles and fully turns in my direction; her entire demeanor changing. I put my cup down and look behind me. "Why the fuck is she here?!" I roll my eyes and watch as Giovanni comes into view looking pissed. She walked toward me with her friend Leo following closely behind.

I run my fingers through my hair, then picks my drink back up and proceeds to carry on conversation with Brielle as if Gio isn't walking towards me. "Fuck her, we good. She not finna do nothing." I knew that was big cap because Leo grabbed Brielle and took her to the other end of the club. Giovanni snatched my drink out of my hand and throws it down. "Yo what the fuck, I was drinking that."

She pushed me back roughly, making me grip her arms up as i yelled at her, "fuck is your problem?! You think coming out and doing whatever you feel like is gonna make you feel better?" "It was helping until your big ugly ass showed up!" Damn that kinda hurt... I'm not even that ugly. As i get stuck in my thoughts she pushed past me and headed towards the exit, and i was hot on her tail.

My breathing picks up as i push through the door, walking down the sidewalk. I'm too out of shape to be chasing her ass. I finally catch up to her, "Joi, tell me why you're so damn mad!" I gently grabbed her wrist, making her look back at me.

She turns round and snatches her hand outta my grip and chuckles. "You made me look dumb, whether you tried to or not. I'm putting myself through school, working part time, and coming home and catering to you and you continue to entertain hoes like I'm not good enough," I step back and bite my lip as she continues, " Giovanni you tell me that you think it's a waste of time and you don't expect to be upset with you?"

"Joi, I'm sorry. I honestly didn't mean any harm... it sounds terrible now that you say it like that. I don't feel like I'm entertaining anyone. I genuinely thought I was just making friends. I never meant to make you angry at me and I damn sure didn't mean to make you feel like you're not good enough." She covers her face then walks closer to me and wraps her arms around my torso. "You really need to listen to me sometimes. Next time ima fuck you up." As i lick my lips, I pull away from the hug and grabs her hand. "Yeah aight. bring yo sexy ass on."
