Chapter 1:The nightmares
Every night there is a new nightmare.Hi,I'm Shadow Laznburg.I am thirteen,and tall for my age.I have blonde hair with red streaks and big purple eyes.I have purple plaid glasses.I can be mean,if you hurt me.I am trained in karate,so bullies beware.Anyway,back to the nightmares.Everynight,I have a different nightmare.Last night it was about my dead family.It's always about them.Tonight,though,is gonna be different.I am gonna stay awake all night if I have to.
Chapter 2:The Silent and Deadly
I live in a world full of monsters and death.The one person I trust is my adopted mom."Mom,I'm going to bed!"I yelled,then climbed up th stairs.I layed down,and fell asleep immediately.Soon,the nightmare started.I fell asleep gently,and I smiled and hugged my dead mom and sister and dad.Suddenly,my light dream turned into a nightmare.The fire roared around the house,licking at my feet and legs."Onyx!Mom!Dad!"I yelled as I got outside.I slowly looked around,and saw no one.An evil cackle filled my mind,and I saw my sister and mom and dad staring out of the window,looking scared.I saw a hand rear up and stab her mom in the head,and her dad in the neck.I saw the same hand rear up and I screamed."ONYX!"I saw Onyx's blood on her window,and my heart broke.I fell to the ground,looking at the window,screaming and crying.I saw a evil face in the window....The same face that held me captive here.I woke up,screaming and crying."ONYX!"I repeated over and over again,sobbing.
Chapter 3:Lilly
As I screamed,I realized it was only a nightmare.I moaned.My plan hadn't worked.I took the glass horse off my neck and threw it down.It shattered,and I screamed as it shattered."Onyx!"I screamed,and picked up the glass pieces."What have I done?"I screamed.I remembered the time when it was given to me."Here.I want you to have this in case something bad happens to me."Onyx had said,and I took it,crying."I love you."I cried.
