Chapter Fifteen

He suddenly ripped the vines and I dropped my necklace in shock.
He smirked at me and laughed loudly.

"You can't beat me!" He says.

I throw a ball of fire at him and he looks unaffected.

I started to feel my powers rising up and me slipping away.
Soon I couldn't control my actions and I could only watch the scene infront me.

My hands were brought infront of me and a stream of fire shot towards Oliver.
He screamed in pain and I tried to stop but I couldn't.
The fire grew thicker and bigger and surrounded him completely.

"Brynn! Stop! It's too much!" Amber says.

I try to but I can't.

"I can't!" I shout.

"What!" She shouts.

"Just knock her out!" The witch from before said.

Shoot.
What was his name again?
Oh yeah. Dylan from the Kelnimi coven.

Wait. Knock me out?

I feel someone hit something near my head and I slip into the darkness.

I open my eyes.

"Hello?" I say.

"Hi" Amber says.

We sit in an akward silence and I play with my fingers.

"Do you remember anything from an hour or so before?" She asks.

"Yeah. Who knocked me out?" I ask.

"I did" she says." Sorry but you were going out of control and I had to stop you before you killed Oliver"

"It's okay. How is he by the way?" I ask.

"He's in a silver cage until he turns back to normal. We can't really be sure" she says.

"When his eyes are yellow, he is controlled by the witch. When his eyes turn grey he's back to himself." I say.

"Oh ok. I guess we can check his eye colour from now on" she says.

"One minute. My powers got out of control" I say and look at my hands.

"Hey. It's fine. No harm was done to anyone" she says.

"But what if I do damage when I can't control it again?" I say and stand up.

"You won't" she says and comes nearer to me.

I step back.

"Stay away from me. I don't want to hurt you" I say and run outside.
I run to the gardens, hoping to leave the castle grounds completely and stay away from everyone.
I don't want to accidentally hurt or kill my family.

I hear someone running behind me in wolf form.
I keep running until I'm stopped by a black wolf.

I stop and a few moment later three more people run next to me.
They shift behind some trees and come back out.

I look at Amber, Ryan, my mum and my dad.

"Where are you going?" Ryan asks.

"I need to be away from you guys. I don't want to hurt you.

None of them understand how scary it is to not be able to control some powers that can potentially kill many people very easily.

"You won't." My mum says.

"I nearly killed Oliver! My own brother!" I say.

"Please don't go" Ryan says. He steps closer but I step back.

He looks at me hurt.
"Please. You can't leave me. I lost everyone I love except you. I need you. I love you." he says.

"I-"

"Well isn't this sweet?" A voice says.

"Eric" I say.

"Hello to you too Brynn" he says and smirks.

"Leave the territory immidiately" my dad says in his powerful voice. It's like an alpha voice but it's for the king only. The queens also have this voice.

"Do you think that using that tone would work on me?" He says and laughs.

I throw a ball of fire at him and it hits his stomach area.
He stumbles back and glares at me.

Yea. I should have practised more instead of watching 6 movies in a row.

He then tries me a ball of fire but I dodge it.

"Don't worry. I'm not here to fight. I just need to do something." He says and smirks.

He then gets like a ridiculous amount of vines and makes them surround us.
The vines pull me away so that I can't do anything to help the others.

"Let us go!" I shout.

"Hmm. Let me me think. No" he says.

He then makes the vines except the ones around me squeeze their necks

"Stop! Don't hurt them!" I scream.

He makes them squeeze even tighter and I try to break free of the vines around me but they're too strong.

Dammit.

"Help!" Amber whispers and then they all fall limp.

The vines around them move away and all four of them drop on the ground.

Mate. Ingrid whispers. A part of me breaks.

The vines around me loosen and so I use my powers to make the vines go away.
I run to Ryan and check his pulse.
I frown as I try to feel it.
I hope that his pulse comes back.

But nothing happens
