You Taught Me How to Love

Under the Stars

Mal POV: 

After the party was coming to an end Ben grabbed my hand and pulled me aside. "Do you want to go some place private, just the two of us?" He whispered in my ear as I giggled because it tickled. I then nodded my head yes in reply since the party was becoming too much for me. We went off to a hidden garden behind Ben's castle. It was the perfect spot to look up at the stars. I grabbed his hand and lead him to a near by bench to sit at. 

Mal: I am sorry for everything.  I shouldn't have kept secrets from you, it was wrong and I could never be sorry enough. And I feel bad I didn't get to apologize to you sooner. 

Ben: What? How could you be sorry? I  took everything out of proportion and went all beasty boy on you. I am the one that's sorry. I promise I will be much more understanding in the future. But promise me you'll always tell me everything.

I smiled at him and nodded my head. I looked down with hesitation and then looked up again. "Are you sure you want to know everything though?" I have a feeling turning into a dragon uncontrollably won't just be a one time thing. I don't even know what I am capable of yet. What if Ben won't be able to handle the stress of having a girlfriend with magic?! I don't even deserve to have a great guy like him. Suddenly, before I could get more lost in my thoughts, Ben grabbed the bottom of my chin and lifted my head up slowly. "I already know what you're thinking, and no matter how dark things get I want to know every single part of it. Because I love every single part of you Mal."  He then cupped my face and kissed me. I didn't want this to end, kissing under the stars with the guy of my dreams just seemed too much like a fairy tale. We broke the kiss and slid down the bench to lay on the ground. I nuzzled up against Ben and just started looking up at the stars amazed by its beauty. We began to just discuss nonsense about our lives. 

*Time Skip 2 hours*

We laughed and laughed for what seemed like forever. But just like everything else in my life all good things must come to an alarming halt. In the middle of talking a stabbing pain started to attack my head. I brushed it aside not thinking much of it but it immediately  came back stronger and only grew. The pain quickly lead to what felt like loud screeching noises that only I could hear. By then I was screaming in pain. I had only mumbled as many words as I could to Ben explaining what was going on. Ben started to hold me, and the next thing I knew I had blacked out. 

A/N: Hey guys thank you so much for reading! Sorry for a short first chapter.  I don't know if you can tell but this is my first time writing fan fiction! Ever! I would love if you guys could give me so constructive criticism so I know what I should work on. But do keep it constructive as I am learning, so no hate. I hope you all enjoyed it! For now I am only going to post the first chapter so I can see the feedback and also see if anyone really likes this story. Also, if any of you are great at making story covers please, please, please message me. I just put a random bal picture I got off of pinterest for now.  I also thought I could give you a few fun facts about me: 

I am 15 and will be starting my sophomore year in a few weeks. My name for now is anonymous ;) I love Disney Channel, but mainly early 2000 DC. Most of the new shows annoy me and are just ruining the network in my opinion. But if you like that then props to you, I am not hating ;D I also love watching youtube I could watch videos on there for hours. My faves are David Dobrik and all of his squad; okbaby; Shane Dawson; Colleen Ballinger, I mean the list could go on. Oh also I am a huge stan for Riverdale but an even bigger stan for Dove Cameron!!!!!!
