in 2011, twenty years after the cold war, something unexpected to all happened. The sun went out. For the first week it was fine, the heat from the sun still poured down onto the earth, and lighting wasn't a problem. The problem came, when the heat ran out. The planet quickly plunged in to another ice age, with snow covering the grounds, and all river lakes, and some parts of the oceans froze over. The only people who were prepared were the local militias, and dooms day prepers who got together to build a bunker. When people described the size of it, no one believed it, it was supposedly twenty four stories deep, each floor having over a hundred thousand square feet, and being at least twenty five feet tall. Another twenty years later, there were five more of them, and everybody lived in one. We were all safe from the outside world, but not from our own consumption. Since the sun went out, its been a battle over energy. Hydro plants, no longer work with the frozen water, gas generators are difficult to keep up with, and fuel is becoming scarce. Wind turbines, just freeze up as soon as they stop moving, and of course, there's not sun to power solar panels anymore. So now, we do what every generation is good at. We fight.
