i reached for my coat, grabbing tylers on accident
i saw a letter fall out
'im sorry tyler, i cant always be there, im not a good friend, i feel like i ditched you and i cant just be there for you like, once? im sorry, i know im worthless'
"charlotte?" i whispered to myself as i moved my thumb to see the name

"NO" i yelped and grabbed my coat and his, he said he was going for a coffee run
he hasnt been back in 30 mins
my car was totaled, i flipped it into a ditch
i had to walk around to find him
"JOSHUA" i screamed as i ran out his house
we were all having a sleepover and it was early in the morning

we ran downstairs, grabbing our coats, i saw a note with tears on it at my feet
i read it and shoved it into tylers arms as i ran out
he raced behind me, both of us calling his name
"the bridge" tyler said, pointing at this bridge and pulling me

"JOSH" i heard a familliar annoying voice scream

i looked up and saw something i thought id never see in my life

tyler leaned next to zoë, grabbing joshs other hand
every one was crying
we just needed him alive

"im going, your not" josh let go of tyler, making him sway back ad forth
"josh, let me pull you up please" zoes tears were dripping off her face
i knew i had to do something, i saw the big balloon on top of the place i worked and improvised

everything happened too fast
he let go and i screamed like a fucking baby

tyler was looking down, his face covered with tears, i took off my coat and ran down, charlotte beat me to him, with a giant balloon
"he was too heavy, he popped it, looks like hes unconscious" charlotte said, wiping tears
i held my coat over him, laying my head on his chest, hoping for him to start breathing

"MOVE" tyler was stumbling on the ice, he immediately used the cpr he learned at camp
josh started to breath but he was unresponsive
"call 911 now" i said, shaking
i held his head and tucked it close to my chest
