"Dear God..." Eva muttered, dropping her cup of double espresso. She pulled a handkerchief out of her pocket, took off her Ray Ban sunglasses, squinting against the hard glare of the morning sun, and wiped the lenses. At least then, she thought, she would be able to clearly figure out what she had just seen. She grinned broadly and looked up at the Golden Gate Bridge, once called "the bridge that couldn't be built," but today it is one the seven wonders of the modern world. This magnificent bridge, perhaps San Francisco's most famous landmark, opened in 1937 after a four-year struggle against relentless winds, fog, rocks and treacherous tides. She pulled her phone out and reached for the camera button. "For the portfolio." She said as she pressed the button, taking the picture of the numerous Dedsec logo paint jobs that decorated the tall heights of the bridge. "Not even the winds or tides could stop the crew from doing a good job. I'm proud of them all." She thought to herself before sliding the phone back to her pocket.

It's been three years since Eva was forced to leave Chicago and head to San Francisco. She never got truly accustomed to it, since she spent most of her time being at her cozy apartment on Lombard Street, due to her health condition that she's been keeping up with endless medicaments. It's true that she missed the love of her life, Aiden Pearce, otherwise known as Chicago's Vigilante who took down mafias, street gangs, who fought crime, who stopped a human trafficking operation all by himself... but it didn't let her down. She always had hope that he would show up, sooner or later.
Earning her income off from various CEO bank accounts, she was more than fine living her life to the fullest in San Francisco.

Having walked through the door of her favorite coffee shop in the city, 10 Donuts Café, she ordered a mocha to make up for the spilled coffee from earlier. She sat at the table and swiftly ran through her phone apps, hacking into the café's network for free internet. She laughed to herself while doing it, she always does. While she was doing her job, a loud voice interrupted her train of thoughts.

"Hey buddy!" A black guy that was seemingly aged in his mid-twenties and was wearing a noticeable shirt with the Dedsec logo imprinted under a blue navy jacket, extended his arm to meet the brofist of another guy, probably his friend. Eva preferred not to turn her head and examine the other guy, fearing that they would notice her stare.

"Marcus!" The other man greeted his friend as they sat at the table on the right side of Eva's. His voice sounded robotic, which made her reach for her right earphone and remove it, thinking that her hearing sense was weakening.

"Let's see." She said, hacking into the system of a camera set inside the café to zoom in and examine the two men up-close. The Dedsec logo was also imprinted on the other guy's chest. "So many studs..." she thought. He was wearing a mask that flashed emoticons as he talked to the black guy. "Weird." She grabbed her cup of coffee, and left the table. The fear that any Dedsec member could report her presence in San Francisco to the Council Of Daves still haunted her up until this day. Making her way out of the coffee shop, she stopped in her tracks to think things over. "A black guy called Marcus and a punk with a mask. I hope they're not wearing the Dedsec logo just for showing off in front of their probably hipster friends." She thought as she headed back home.

Eva closed all the curtains in her apartment, planning to begin another one of her online hacking raids on suspicious civilians that worked for Blume around the area. Ever since the whole city has connected to Blume's ctOS 2.0, she felt that Chicago's events were catching up to San Francisco in an upgraded style. Once she had found a potential civilian, she packed her laptop in her leather bag, grabbed her phone and her Colt M1911 pistol and headed out.
