I let you in whenever you asked,
Even though you let me down every time.
And now, I don't know how to break this to you,
But I don't think you should be in my life anymore;
I think it's time to let go.
Looking at you, I see someone who's carefree,
Exactly what I want to be;
Someone who doesn't care and has moved on.
But I'm stuck in this neverending cycle of pain,
And I don't see a way out.
You used to be my light,
Shining bright in the dark tunnels running through my mind;
The one thing that could save me from everything.
And then you extinguished and never relighted
And I was left stumbling.
Leaving you was never going to be easy,
I knew it from the start.
We were never meant to last,
I was just there for the ride.
But somewhere along the way I'd fallen,
Fallen hard,
And now, it's time to get back up again.🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼
