All i could do was cherish this moment like never before, hoping that it would never end.

The slight movement i made wasn't near enough to wake her. The ray of light that would beam through the gap in the curtains would be enough to make you blind. I look over to where she lay, not a movement had been made since i last saw her beautiful face. As quietly as i could i sat at the edge of the bed, reminiscing on the night previously and how perfect every moment was, hoping Jennifer felt the same.
I gathered myself up and went downstairs, greeted by Courteney who smiled straight away as she saw me enter the kitchen.

" Great night for some " she giggled whilst trying not to break her uncontrollable laugh.

I certainly knew what she was hinting at, but i completely avoided the comment.

" Where's Matty, is he still here? " I asked her.

" No he left about half an hour ago. He said he had to get back and see his parents for the day"

We all knew Matty, he'd probably had gone home early to prepare himself for one of very many dates that guy would have. Which in fact kinda sounds like something i'd do.

" Sleep well? " she asked whilst giving me a glance over the shoulder with a quick wink.

" Never better " I replied. I could tell i was blushing, my cheeks got warm and my face would crack a smile.

I'd always try to convince myself that i hid my emotions well from people, but when someone mentions Jennifer's name, or even bring her up in a conversation that was directly spoken about her, i couldn't help but get a feeling like no other.

We sat and talked for a while, time flew by, yet Jennifer hadn't woken. I decided to prepare her some breakfast in bed, as i thought it would be quite a nice gesture. I gather some fruits in a bowl, i grab a strawberry yogurt out of the fridge, and I put some brown bread in the toaster. As i waited, i poured her some fresh, cold orange juice and flicked the kettle on and poured her a coffee with no sugar as i know she doesn't like it in her drink. I spread slight butter over her toast and place it on a china plate, one of the very many Courteney had. I walked so carefully up the stairs trying not to spill anything, and lay the breakfast at the side of her bed just before i woke her.

Jennifer's POV
My eyes open, but i was so comfy i didn't want to wake up. I turn to my left to see Matt stroking my arm, battling to wake me up.
I smile ever so gracefully at him, whilst asking him how long he'd been up

" Not that long. I made you some breakfast " he sweetly said whilst handing me a tray of the creation he had put together.

My eyes drift off and stare at him. " He's so sweet, what a gentleman "  i thought to myself.

" Thankyou so much, you shouldn't of troubled yourself " I said, so grateful that he was with me.

After breakfast i got changed as i needed to get back home as i had arranged lunch with Lisa a week back. I gather my things and went downstairs where both Matt and Courteney were washing up. I quickly said my goodbyes whilst i turned to Matt

"Thankyou so much for the breakfast, it was wonderful " I said whilst giving both of them a quick kiss on the cheek.

Once i was home, and thought of how great the night had been, i tried my best to look as presentable as i could whilst fixing my hair and putting some makeup on. I didn't really know what to wear so whatever i saw first i would put on. I saw a white shirt with some black pants and i put some black heels on and walked straight out of the door into my car. Whilst driving down the freeway to go to lunch with Lisa i couldn't help but think of Matt.
( Listen to this song whilst you read this bit ) The song Every Breath You Take by The Police
came on as i flickered on the radio. The words were meaningful as i remember how strongly Matt held me whilst breathing so heavily as he lay right beside me last night.
