Andy had always wanted a puppy.

So when his parents brought home a kitten for his 12th birthday, he was disappointed. But he loved his parents so much and wanted them to be happy, so he decided to make the best of the situation.

He called the kitten Spot and got his parents to buy the kitten a tiny black collar and a blue leash, so he could walk his new pet.

And he tried to teach the kitten tricks, like fetching and rolling over and shaking hands.

Spot was not cooperative.

He mostly slept.
