Dark Shadows [Virtuousness Part Two]

She was dying, I can feel it.

But I was too much into it and my lust for life forces are just to huge to be full of only half of her life. I cannot stop. I pity her, no. but her heart cannot take the weight of my force. But I know that she was hiding something. And that secret must be her only strength. My goal is to open those thoughts and end her pain.

His thoughts were forcing me to die. I could hear my heartbeat skip and finally there was death silence and I was thrown into my dream world, which is now nothing but air and wilted flowers. It was near to a desert with the sun always behind thick clouds that blind me.

The air was cold; a total opposite to the warm summer air that I thought.

The land that I walk on was colorless, the old picture of the greeny landscape was gone and sand blew to my face, blinding me completely.

Losing my sight, I walked on with calculated steps and then, I felt something breathe behind me.

Abruptly turning, I smelled the permanent perfume of oddity, unhappiness and death.

=========================================================================

I wanted to kill her then and there, but that would brand me as a merciless murderer of a spirit and I'll be banished to a pit of fire and maggots.

"tell me your hidden thoughts, Spirit..." I said in a dead voice. Her Dream Spirit turned to face me. on her head hung a beautiful mass of curly hair, on her face was big, gray-blue eyes which was sad and painfully dead, her lips quirked up as if to smile.

She said:

NO THOUGHTS OF MINE WAS SECRET.

NO SECRET OF MINE WAS NOT SEEN.

IN MY ROTTING BODY I TRY TO FIND TRUTH.

BUT TRUTH WAS ONLY FOUND IN REALITY.

REALITY IS WHAT I HATE, BUT IN REALITY THERE IS LIFE.

AND NOW THAT YOU HAD TAKEN AWAY MY LIFE...

ALL THESE SHALL GO TO DARKNESS!

Her voice filled the air with shadows of different animals. All of them seem to be afraid, but when they charged to me like untamed bulls, my mind thought otherwise.

The Dream Spirit took hold of my arm and looked at me straight in the eye. That was the last comforting sight as we plunged into the darkness of her animals.
