Fly Away Little Birdy While You Can

I couldn't find her anywhere. I ran out the door to only end up on my butt. I had ran into someone but my eyes were so blurry I couldn't see who it was.

"Marry! What's wrong?" The person asked

I realized that the person was Mark.

"Some-t-thing has h-happened to my g-granddma." I said crying.

"What do you mean?" he asked

I couldn't talk at all I just cried as hard as I've ever cried before. Mark then picked me up and carried me into the house. He sat down on the couch with me in his lap. He just let me cry and cry.

I cried for like an hour. But when I was finely done crying I looked up at him and felt like a child.

"Marry what happened?" he asked

I told him everything. For the dwarf dude, to my grandma fighting a giant monster.

He just looked at me in compliant shock.

"Marry I think we need to get you to a doctor." he said

"You don't believe me do you?" I asked

"I just think maybe there's something wrong and you should get it checked out." He said

"Mark I'm serious. This really happened." I said starting to cry again

"Marry please don't cry please." mark said

Just then there was a knock on the door.

"I'll get it." I said

I opened the door to see an older looking lady in a robe.

"Hi, can I help you?" I asked

"Yes I'm looking for Lillian Rose." she said

"Um I'm not sure where she at." I said

"Wait please tell me there hasn't been a short scary looking man here." she said

"Yes? Do you know him?"

"Kind of but dear you and your friend need to come with me."

"Why and how did you know there was someone else in here?"

"I know many things, but for now lets get you and your friend to safety."

"No..." I began

"Marry I know your grandma from when we were kids. There's things she didn't want her family to know but it's time you know."

"Then come in and tell me."

"I can't the house isn't safe and your friend Mark needs to come with us to."

"I don't know..."

"Please just listen to me."

"Fine but I can't promise Mark will come with."

"I think he just might." she said

I walked into the living room and told Mark what the old lady said. Surprisingly he agreed to go. As we were leaving Nicky showed up.

"Great can this day get any worse?"I ask myself

"Mark where do you think your going?" she asked

"I'm just helping Marry. I'll be back in a bit ok." he said

"No your not going anywhere with her" she said

"Nicky please she really needs my help..." he began

"No now come on." she said

As she pulled him away I turned to look at the old lady. She look scared. Her eyes where huge and she was standing as still as a statue.
