Ricky frowned. He stared down at his boots and began shaking his head. "Chuck... Chuck's not gonna like this," he said quietly.

"What's that?"

"Said Chuck's not gonna like this," Ricky repeated, an agonized expression on his face.
"Not one bit."

"Who's Chuck?"

Ricky shifted his feet, his head shaking in disapproval. "Chuck. Chuck is coming... an'... an' he's not... he's not gonna be happy..."

Izzy shook his head and at Danny. "What's he talkin' about?"

"No frickin' clue," Danny said, staring at Ricky.

"Hey. What're you talkin' about, man?" Izzy said, taking a step closer. "Who the—"

"Chuck doesn't... doesn't like," Ricky squinted as if in pain, searching his brain for the right words. "Bad guys!" he finally blurted out. "Chuck doesn't like bad guys."

Izzy laughed. "That so? Chuck don't like bad guys? Really? Then I guess he's really gonna hate us." He smiled at his own joke. "You wanna know what I don't like? I don't like it when people don't give me what I want. An' what I want is your wallet, so hand it over dough boy!" He reached over and poked Ricky in the chest.

Ricky flinched and took a step back. "Don't touch!!" he yelled loudly. "No touching!! Mom says you shouldn't touch!"

"What the—"

"NO TOUCHING!!!" Ricky screamed, rapidly shaking his head from side to side. "Chuck... Chuck doesn't like this! Doesn't like you! No, not one bit!" He reached into his back pocket behind him and removed some folded papers. Hands shaking, he fished out a small, white card and held it out for Izzy as some of the other paper pieces fell beside him. Danny reached down and picked up one of the larger ones, unfolding it.

Izzy snatched the card out of Ricky's hand and stared at it, frowning. "What's this? A Metro ticket?!? Man! I'm not asking for no Metro ticket!! I want money! M-O-N-E-Y! Money! What are you, some kind of Rain Man dumbass?!?"

"Chuck doesn't like swears," Ricky protested, staring at the ground. "Shouldn't swear. Chuck doesn't like swears."

Izzy clenched his fists and was preparing to lunge at Ricky when Danny began laughing beside him. He stopped and turned toward him.

"What's so funny?"

Danny held up the flyer he'd been reading and smiled. "I think I know who Chuck is."

"Yeah?" Izzy said, snatching the paper out of his hand. He began reading it and a few seconds later he also started to laugh. He handed it over to James and looked up at Ricky.

"So you a big Chuck fan, are ya, Ricky?"

Ricky nodded enthusiastically, still not making eye contact. "Chuck's my hero!" he yelled. "Chuck is... Chuck is awesome!"

"He kinda is, ain't he?" Danny said, nodding.

"Crap. Not you, too," Izzy moaned, glancing back at him.

"Can't help it," he said as he shrugged. "Grew up watching his show when I was a kid. Even memorized a couple'a jokes over the years. Like, you know how a magician can pull a rabbit out of his hat?"

"Yeah?"

"Well, Chuck can pull a hat out of a rabbit."

Izzy moaned, but James and Ricky both laughed aloud, exchanging smiles before James swiftly looked away.

"Or... the last person to make eye contact with Chuck? Stevie Wonder."

"Who?" Izzy asked, frowning.
