“You’re the best!” I told my brother as he drove past our favorite bridge.
We were coming back from concert of our favorite boyband Dark Secrets.
My brother Romeo and me we’re super interested in music. Actually not, he likes to write songs and I like to sing and that’s the reason we make the best team. I love my brother the most in this whole goddamn world. Maybe because he’s the only family I’ve left with. Our mom died over two years ago and since then he played role of my mother quite well.
“Jules, always remember there’s a different meaning to the lyric. And what we listened today we’re gonna discuss the “behind the surface” meaning tomorrow.Alright?”He said while lowering down the volume of radio.
“Ok big brother. I’ll be prepared with my theories.”This has been going on with us for years he asks me the meaning of lyrics that I understood and tells me the actual meaning that should have been there.
My mum got pregnant with us when she was 18. Oh! I forgot to mention we’re twins. Mum named us Romeo and Juliet. I know right! Twins named Romeo and Juliet but she explained that she wanted us to love each other like they loved each other. Our love, it’s hard to explain. He’s my everything.Wait! he’ll always be my everything.
“I love you, baby girl. Always enjoy life no matter what.”He said with an unknown fear in his voice.
And that was last thing my brother said to me.
After what happened next there was no way left to enjoy life.
