"Let's walk home together" Mia proposed when she got to him breathing heavily while she spoke
"S-sure" Yusuke stuttered out starting to walk to the train station with her next to him
"So what have you been doing since I left?" Mia asked a simple enough question but Yusuke's mind was already racing trying to find the right answer
"We-well I've just b-b-" Yusuke tried to speak he really did but it just came out a stuttered mess
"Hey it's okay I was just curious if you don't want to tell me about all the girlfriends you've had then it's fine" Mia told him putting a hand on his shoulder winking at him

"WHAT NO!" Yusuke accidentally yelled the idea of him having a girlfriend sounding crazy
Mia flinched slightly from his yell before laughing
"So you haven't had a girlfriend?" Mia asked him with a smile
"No never" Yusuke muttered embarrassed that he'd never had one
'Great now she's gonna think I'm a total loser, never talk to me again and never return my feelings for her' Yusuke thought to himself worriedly his eyes widening thinking of all the possible outcomes barely hearing her tiny whisper
"Huh?" He questioned her stupidly with a blush
"I've never had a boyfriend either" Mia spoke up with a slight blush taking her hand that she still had on his shoulder off
"Bu-but your a supermodel!" Yusuke exclaimed not believing for a second that she didn't ever date anyone at least once
"I don't want a silly relationship that will end in a couple of days I want one that will last, maybe even forever" Mia told him with enthusiasm still blushing
"I know it's stupid bu-" Mia started to speak before he cut her off
"It's not Mia that's actually really admirable when I want a relationship I want that to be one that could lead to my forever with someone" Yusuke muttered getting quieter as he continued to talk
"I'm glad we both agree then!" Mia exclaimed with a smile before grabbing his hand and leading him into the train
"So we don't get spilt up" Mia when she noticed him looking at their joined hands with a panicked looked
Mia held his hands the entire time as he stared at their intertwined hands with a blush and his heart racing before eventually looking to Mia who was standing to his left with a bored look
Slowly almost unsurely he squeezed her hand watching her for her reaction she just smiled before squeezing back but it felt more like she was squeezing his heart in the process as it pounded quickly in his chest
