Chloe POV
The bright sun shined on my face as I woke up and looked at the clock. 7 AM.
I quickly got up and went into my bathroom to shower. I straightened my hair and chose a cute but casual outfit, a black top, high waisted shorts, flannel around my waist, and some vans.
Today was the first day of school and I wanted to make a good impression. My mom and I had just moved to mystic falls after the "accident" in davie. I don't like to talk about it.
I blended in my foundation and concealer and threw on some lip balm. I then baked and contoured. I'm not a makeup person so I don't wear much, especially to school. As I walked to school, I wondered if anyone would be my friend. I have, well, HAD, lots of friends back in Davie. I sat alone at lunch, until someone came to me.
"Hi, I'm Gabi."
Her dark blue eyes gazed into mine, and I couldn't help but stare. She was so hot, why was she talking to the new girl?
"I- I'm Chloe."
Before she could answer, Lindsay, the popular girl interrupted.
"Why the hell are you talking to this dork? Let's go, Gabi."
She pulled her in for a kiss, and smirked at me. I hope I see Gabi again.
As I walked to my third period, I got a call.
"Hello?"
"Did you really think that I'd forget what you and your bitchy mom did back home?"
