[Phil's POV]

I opened my eyes to the same white ceiling I wake up to every day. Every. Single. Day. I stared at this ceiling for a little while, contemplating if I should get out of bed or not. I mean, what's the point? Every day is the same, I wake up, live another unproductive day, I go back to sleep. I do this every day, every week, every month, every year, it's pointless anymore...

I used to be so happy... I don't know what happened, but I know something did. Everything has changed, my smile has changed, my laugh has changed, the way I dress has changed, my personality has changed, my life has changed...

I finally got out of bed and made my way to the bathroom so I could shower. I took a brisk shower and slipped on some clothes. Nothing special, just a T-shirt and sweatpants
I'm not going anywhere, I never do. So what's the point in wearing something snazzy?

I walked out of the steam filled bathroom and was met with a slap in the face by the cooler air. My body immediately adjusted to the temperature and I headed to the kitchen to make some cereal.

I took my bowl of cereal to the couch and switched on the television. I flipped through the channels but nothing seemed interesting. I turned the television off and stood up to put my now empty bowl in the sink to procrastinate washing later.

I walked back to my bedroom to retrieve my phone and to find a jumper to put on since it was a little chilly. I quickly rummaged through a draw and pulled out a black jumper. I pulled it over my head and glanced at myself in the mirror. My fringe was messed up so I briskly ran my hand through my hair and swiped my fringe to the right.

As I was grabbing my phone I picked up my glasses and took them with me out to the lounge. Just in case I needed them I wouldn't have to get up to get them again. Because I knew I would end up taking more time yearning about doing it instead of actually completing the action. (Which would take like, thirty seconds.)

I unlocked my phone and tapped the Tumblr icon. I scrolled through the app for awhile, searching up random tags, chuckling at a few things, getting a bit angry at others. Not many things upset me though, only a few. Mostly because they were either stupid opinions or meant to be offensive towards someone specifically.

This specific comment called one specific user ugly, I replied to the person almost immediately.

Well, if you're insulting people on the internet, you must be ugly on the inside.

One thing you need to know about me is that I'll respect your opinion as long as you aren't disrespecting anyone's existence.

As I was scrolling through more endless posts I got a text from PJ.

Peej: Hey Phil, do you want to come to this party my friend is having???

I hesitated before replying. I really didn't want to go anywhere, but he seemed to really want me to go.

Me: Um, sure

I sighed heavily after sending the text, regretting my decision immensely. Why couldn't I just say no?

Peej: Okay great! The party starts around 9:00, can I pick you up at like 8:30?

I checked the time, 5:37

Me: Yeah, that's fine

Ugh

Peej: Okay, see you then!

I put my phone down and went to my bedroom to pick out clothes. It's nothing formal but I don't want to wear sweatpants to a party.

I picked out a pair of skinny jeans and a short sleeve button up with small flowers scattered about. (They looked like polka dots from afar.)
