I woke up to my alarm ringing. I looked at the time that read 12:30. It was pretty late so I got up and went to get dressed.
I wore my brand new white shirt, skinny jeans, and a black and white flannel around my waist.
I went into the bathroom and brushed my hair down, too lazy to style it. While brushing my teeth, I decided to go to Starbucks and get my favorite drink to wake me up.
When I was done, I grabbed my phone and went out the door.

When, I got there, walked over to the long line. I sighed and took out my phone distract me while I waited.

When it was my turn in line, I got my drink and turned around quickly, not paying attention.
I bumped into a boy about my age with dirty blonde hair and chocolate brown eyes. The top of my drink came off, spilling it all over my white shirt.
It had gotten on the boy as well. "I am so sorry," we both said at the same time. We laughed and bent down to pick up the cup. We ended up bumping heads.
"Ow," I said, still laughing. He giggled. "Sorry about that." "It's fine." He invited me to sit down at a table with him. "My name's Jace, what's yours?" "Emily," I said, smiling.
We got to know each other a little better and he offered to buy me another drink. I accepted and had a great time with him.
"Hey, could I get your number?" He said, rubbing the back of his neck. "Sure!" I gave him my phone for him put his number in. He texted himself using my phone to make sure he got the number right.
He gave me my phone back, said goodbye, and left. I walked out of the building and got in the car to get home.

When I got home, I quickly changed back into my pajamas, knowing I wasn't going anywhere else.
I plopped on my bed and laid there for a while, processing everything that just happened. I heard my phone go off on the bed.
It was a message from Jace. It read: "Hey, I was wondering if you'd like to hang out some other time?" I smiled. "Sure, where?" "Bowling, maybe?"
"I love bowling, of course! Tomorrow at 5:00?" "See you there! ♡"
Did he just put a heart emoji?! I laughed it off and sighed. My feelings were really starting to grow for Jace...
