"Hey Betty there are cheerleading tryouts today!" I say in a cheerful tone "yeah, so What?" She says in a questioning voice. Isn't it obvious what I mean? "We have to try out later! Obviously." "Uhg, fine"
TIME SKIP
I walk into the gym for cheerleading tryouts and I see no other then Cheryl Bombshell herself. She walks up to me and says "why hello there I see your still hanging out with those losers" in a sour tone. I don't reply I just walk past her she seemed confused and the entire time I was dragging Betty by the hand. The second I realized that I started Blushing madly.
•Betty's POV•
"Ronnie what's wrong?" Her face was red and she seemed uneasy "oh, um, it's just nervousness, nothing to worry about" "okay but if there's something wrong you can tell me, okay?" "Okay".
We get ready and Cheryl says "okay girls line up and get in pairs, I'll judge your performances." Obviously me and Ronnie pair up. When it's our turn we dance to the music. But Cheryl seems unimpressed "what's so important about your performance? What would make me pick you" I felt it was hopeless that we would get on the team. But just then Veronica pulls me into a kiss. It felt good like really good
