John gulped as he looked down at his hands. He had been through so much. Abuse at home, bullying from fellow students, and losing the love of his life. Alexander Hamilton.

Everything was always dark. There was no color in this damn world. He always remembered watching as writing appeared on his arms. Two different people who were actually soulmates.

Where were his friends now? Not here for him, that's for sure. He looked at the scars on his arms and sighed.

Alexander came back to his thoughts. "4... 3... 2... 1..." He whispered. No Alex. He felt tears well up in his eyes. Mistake.

Everyday John worked to try and show Alex that he loved him but it didn't matter. Alex loved his soulmate, not John.

It hurt so much to know nobody was coming. All the pain was killing him and he got up, heading for the roof of his apartment building.

John ran up the stairs, scaling them two steps at a time. He got to the roof quickly and headed for the edge, looking down at the streets below. So many cars rushed through the streets. They were so tiny from up here.

John remembered the day Alex met his soulmate, Eliza. That was they day he said goodbye to his dreams. He stepped onto the small little wall that surrounded the roof. Alex no longer had to cry on his shoulder. Not like he ever did before anyways.

John let out a shaky breath. "4... 3... 2... 1..." He murmured before he was falling forward. His body speeding for the ground, his hair flying around him.

John felt a small smile come to his face as he fell. Finally free. "Sorry." He whispered as he closed his eyes, letting himself fall once more. No more pain.
