Chapter 25

"Damn it!I thought I had a chance with you!"I said playfully.
"Oh,I hate you!"he replied.
I laughed and hugged him.
"I love you no matter what Rico.No one can hate you."
He hugged me thighter.
"I'm relieved now.I'm going to tell this to others,will you stand next to me ?"
I smiled at him.
"Of course I will!"
I hold his hand and went back to the livingroom.

I cleared my throat and yelled "Attention please."in British accent.
Everyone turned around to us and looked at our hands confused.

"Well,you see,I...I"Rico stuttered.
"Hey,relax.There is nothing to be worried about.I told you,no one has the power to hate you."I said.
He nodded his head and sighed.

"I'm gay."
Everyone looked at him and a second after they were hugging Rico telling that they were proud of him.

"I love you bro."Lorenzo said.
"I love you too man."Rico replied.

I smiled watching them.

After spending time together for a little more,now I was at home chilling in my pyjamas.

Before going back to bed,I made myself a chicken sandwich and a smoothie.
I didn't want to look weak for tomorrow since I had to go to lunch with Dominic.
I was excited.

Tomorrow morning~
I woke up a little later since I was not going to have breakfast.I decided to wear a dark blue jumpsuit.
I was feeling weird,like something bad but at the same time something good was going to happen.It all sounds crazy but I don't know.

I shrugged it off the weird feeling and drove to the company.I decided to buy the coffee from the cafe that Alessio brought me on my first day.I was feeling embarrassed but I remember saying Isabelle that I would come here again.

Luckily it was open and there she was!
"Good morning Isabelle."I said smiling.
"Oh my,look at you!You look beautiful Rosie!"
I blushed a little.Okay,a lot...
"Thank you so much!"
"Umm can I get a black coffee please."I added.
"Oh,wow!You don't look like someone who would drink black coffee but okay!"

I laughed at her and said"It's not for me,it's for Mr.D'Amico,I mean Alessio."
"Oh,that makes sense."
Then she laughed at herself.

After grabbing the coffee and saying goodbye,I ran towards to the company.
After arriving on my floor,I saw Katie.I smiled knowing she was here.
I knocked on the devil's door through hell and surprisingly he was there.

Damn he looked good.
I've always found men in suits hot but him,he was way beyond "hot" and I don't even know what that means.

"Good morning Miss Gonzalez."

After hearing his voice,all the memories that him saying all that bad stuff to me appeared in front of my eyes.It was disgusting.

Never judge a book by it's cover I guess...

"You too."I murmured.
I could feel his stare burning me while I was putting his coffee on his table.
"Anything else?"I asked.
"We have a meeting after lunch so I need you to prepare everything..."

After listening him,I was kinda nervous.
It was my first ever meeting and it has been already a month!
Well,I gained his trust I guess...

After preparing the room,I was exhausted.
I looked around the room checking everything.

Water Bottles ✔️
Papers✔️
Pens✔️
Something to eat✔️

Everything was ready!
Literally I had spent an hour and a half preparing snacks to eat in the meeting.Too bad I can't have them.

Now,it was lunch.I jogged to my office to grab my purse and to let the devil know I was done.

I knocked on his door but there was no sound of him.I opened the door to look inside but he wasn't in there
I didn't want to risk having him yell at me for not letting him know that I finished so I emailed him.
After a minute or so he replied saying :

Thank you for everything Miss Gonzalez,you can go to lunch now.

"That was fast"I talked to myself.
"You talk to yourself a lot?"someone asked.
I tilted my head up and saw it was Dominic.
I started to blush thinking yesterday.
"Don't act like you don't do it."
"Damn,someone is sassy."
I rolled my eyes at that.
"Oh my god,you look so good!"he said in high girly voice.
"Please don't ever do that again."
"Noted."
I chuckled at his behaviour and followed him.

In the car ~
"Sooo,where are we going ?" I asked.
"It's a surprise."
"If you are kidnapping me or planing to kill me just know that I do boxing."
"I know."
"Wait what?What do you mean you know?Oh my god,are you stalking me ?"
"No of course not,Rico is one of my closest friends.He told me.That guy talks about you a lot."he said smiling.
"Awww,I love him,he is so sweet.We should all hang out together.I mean if you want..."
I replied getting nervous.
"No need to be worried,I would love to."

In the restaurant ~
"This is cliche,you brought me to your favourite Italian Restaurant just because you love their food and you're Italian.This happens very often in books.Except we're not lovers."
"You caught me."

After ordering our food,we started to play 20 questions game.
"You go first."I said
"Okay,what's your favourite colour?"
"Rose Gold.What's your favourite planet?"
"Uranus.When is your birthday?"
"26th of January."

After that our food came and we started to eat.
We talked about my life before coming here New York and a lot more.I was lucky that he was a good talker so we didn't have any akward moments.

After lunch we went back to the company.
"You are really fun."Dominic said.
I was surprised,I've never concidered myself fun before.
"Thank you but trust me you're way more fun.I'm happy that I got a new friend."
He smiled and hugged me.
"Look,I'm sorry for Alessio again.I don't know if he acts all bad around you all the time but know that it's his past.You are kind,full of love and a funny person.No matter what he says,it's not true."
I nodded my head sadly.

After arriving on my floor,I felt someone staring at me.I turned to Dominic but he was busy looking at Katie.Does he like her or something?
I shrugged it off the feeling and said"Thank you Dominic,you made me feel a lot better about myself and about yesterday."
I hugged him tightly again and we pulled back.
"A lot of people call me Dom,you can too."
"Nah,Dominic suits you better."
He rolled his eyes and we said our goodbye-s.

While I was walking to my office,someone hold my wrist and pushed me to himself/herself.
