You sighed as Ryuu walked over to you, "Could I help you?" He asked
You nodded laying your arm out as he took a seat beside you.
He ran a hand through his hair, and god was that hella attractive, "You're always getting hurt, aren't you?"
You chuckled slightly and he returned it, "I'm going to need stitches."
He nodded, a worried look settling on his face, "No one here has ever practiced stitches before, the medically trained soldiers are all still down from the sickness."
You looked at your bleeding arm, it needed to be patched up now or else you would risk infection and/or bleeding out.
"We don't have time for people to get better. I can't stitch with my less dominate hand, plus I'm shaking," you lifted up your hand showing him the result of shock, "I'll walk you through how to do it, but you have to do it fast. I learned directly from the Queen so teaching you shouldn't be too hard."
Ryuu redundantly reached for you arm before drawing back "Y/n I can't." He got up from the seat, "I'm going to get Mitsuhide and Kiki. Maybe they know how to do it,"
You sighed with annoyance, they did this same BS whenever you fainted from the sickness, "Then hurry." He looked at you, "Please." You added which made him hurry out the room.
A couple minutes later Kiki slammed the wooden door open, and Ryuu followed behind her red faced.
She hurried to the wooden cabinets and got all the necessary supplies before sitting in front of you and unwrapping your arm. Kiki quietly and quickly stitched your arm, blonde strands of her hair fell into her face covering a small scar on her cheek.
Ryuu stood behind her watching her small but calloused hands work, "I didn't think guards were required to learn advanced medical procedures."
She cut the thick string before tying it in a knot, "We're not."
He nodded, "Where did you learn how to do it?"
"My mom taught me before I came to Clarines, she taught me everything I needed to know in an emergency situation." Kiki pulled the lose strands back into her low ponytail, "I guess she had already guessed which path I would take before I told her." She paused before looking at you, "I set a change of clothes on your bed. They're mine so don't be shocked." Kiki nodded at Ryuu before leaving the room.
Ryuu sat down in front of you, and delicately wrapped your arm, he also reapply medicine to your bite which was healing as expected.
As he finished you decided it was now or never to apologize, "I just wanted to say sorry for upsetting you earlier." You felt heat rise to your cheeks.
"Hm?" Ryuu looked at you, "When? What are you talking about?"
You looked away from him, feeling slightly ashamed, "When I mentioned your family?"
"Oh," he whispered, "Um, honestly no one has ever really asked about them so I didn't know how to react."
You nodded, not really understanding
"I wasn't upset, I just panicked." He scanned your facial features, "You really didn't do anything."
You felt relief flood over you, "That's great," you smiled before realizing, "No! Not great like that, but great you weren't mad at me."
Ryuu smiled, showing off his single dimple, but whenever his gaze on you nor his smile faded, you took this as a sign to create another conversation.
"Well, since the bandit situation is solved and the soldiers are getting better. I suppose I should be packing for my journey back to Serianna." You leaned back into the chair, closing your eyes
