Breeze

Marley would've wished for the rushing water at docks and birds to clear her mind. Instead, she had only gotten the busy-ness of it. The bustling fisherman, and slightly noisy atmosphere made her sigh. She envied the occasional soft breeze that went by, sometimes strong enough to move her short hair. The boats sailing off every so often, sometimes being a good view with the cloudy and sunny sky. As another fisherman passed she kept her hands in her lap. Possibly not to get her hands stepped on, or due to the fact of her paranoia of getting as many splinters from the dock she sat at.

Finally, she had gotten a steady job. Thanks to the disappearance of ships in other areas, the fisherman were paranoid enough to let her help in some places. Right now however, she wanted to enjoy the small break she had. Closing her eyes, she took deep breaths. She'd done this before, and wanted to zone out for a second. And that she did, toning out the noise.

Maybe there was something more to all of this? No, no of course not. Her thoughts had never lost their meaning, she didn't think. However, she wasn't focused on the stars.. That's absurd. It wasn't even night. Instead, this time.. Her mind was blank. Not wanting to delve further in the blankness of her mind, she opened her Ivory eyes, returning to looking down at the water.
